When you, God, went out before your people, when you marched through the wilderness

The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands; the Lord has come from Sinai into his sanctuary.

O God, when you went out before your people, when you marched through the wilderness, Selah

The chariots of God are twice ten thousand, thousands upon thousands; the Lord is among them; Sinai is now in the sanctuary.

O God, when you led your people out from Egypt, when you marched through the dry wasteland, Interlude

Surrounded by unnumbered thousands of chariots, the Lord came from Mount Sinai into his sanctuary.

God, when you went out before your people, when you marched through the desert, Selah

God’s chariots are tens of thousands, thousands and thousands;  the Lord is among them in the sanctuary  as he was at Sinai.

O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, When thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah

The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: The Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

O God, when You went out before Your people, When You marched through the wilderness, Selah

God, when you took the lead with your people, when you marched out into the wild, Earth shook, sky broke out in a sweat; God was on the march. Even Sinai trembled at the sight of God on the move, at the sight of Israel’s God. You pour out rain in buckets, O God; thorn and cactus become an oasis For your people to camp in and enjoy. You set them up in business; they went from rags to riches.

The chariots of God, twice ten thousand, and thousands more besides, The Lord in the lead, riding down Sinai— straight to the Holy Place! You climbed to the High Place, captives in tow, your arms full of plunder from rebels, And now you sit there in state, GOD, sovereign GOD!

The chariots of God are myriads, thousands upon thousands; The Lord is among them as at Sinai, in holiness.

The chariots of God are myriads, thousands upon thousands; The Lord is among them as He was at Sinai, in holiness.

O God, when you lead your people into battle, when you march through the desert, (Selah)

God has countless chariots; they number in the thousands. The Lord comes from Sinai in holy splendor.
