Surely God will crush the heads of his enemies, the hairy crowns of those who go on in their sins. The Lord says, “I will bring them from Bashan; I will bring them from the depths of the sea, that your feet may wade in the blood of your foes, while the tongues of your dogs have their share.”

But God will strike the heads of his enemies, the hairy crown of him who walks in his guilty ways. The Lord said, “I will bring them back from Bashan, I will bring them back from the depths of the sea, that you may strike your feet in their blood, that the tongues of your dogs may have their portion from the foe.”

But God will smash the heads of his enemies, crushing the skulls of those who love their guilty ways. The Lord says, “I will bring my enemies down from Bashan; I will bring them up from the depths of the sea. You, my people, will wash your feet in their blood, and even your dogs will get their share!”

Surely God crushes the heads of his enemies, the hairy brow of one who goes on in his guilty acts.  The Lord said, “I will bring them back from Bashan; I will bring them back from the depths of the sea  so that your foot may wade  in blood and your dogs’ tongues may have their share from the enemies.”

But God shall wound the head of his enemies, And the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses. The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea: That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, And the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

But God will wound the head of His enemies, The hairy scalp of the one who still goes on in his trespasses. The Lord said, “I will bring back from Bashan, I will bring them back from the depths of the sea, That your foot may crush them in blood, And the tongues of your dogs may have their portion from your enemies.”

Blessed be the Lord— day after day he carries us along. He’s our Savior, our God, oh yes! He’s God-for-us, he’s God-who-saves-us. Lord GOD knows all death’s ins and outs. What’s more, he made heads roll, split the skulls of the enemy As he marched out of heaven, saying, “I tied up the Dragon in knots, put a muzzle on the Deep Blue Sea.” You can wade through your enemies’ blood, and your dogs taste of your enemies from your boots.

God certainly will shatter the heads of His enemies, The hairy head of one who goes about in his guilt. The Lord said, “I will bring them back from Bashan. I will bring them back from the depths of the sea, So that your foot may shatter them in blood, And the tongue of your dogs may have its portion from your enemies.”

Surely God will shatter the head of His enemies, The hairy scalp of one who goes on in his guilty ways. The Lord said, “I will bring your enemies back from Bashan; I will bring them back from the depths of the [Red] Sea, That your foot may crush them in blood, That the tongue of your dogs may have its share from your enemies.”

Indeed God strikes the heads of his enemies, the hairy foreheads of those who persist in rebellion. The Lord says, “I will retrieve them from Bashan, I will bring them back from the depths of the sea, so that your feet may stomp in their blood, and your dogs may eat their portion of the enemies’ corpses.”
