You made your people look doom in the face, then gave us cheap wine to drown our troubles. Then you planted a flag to rally your people, an unfurled flag to look to for courage. Now do something quickly, answer right now, so the one you love best is saved. That’s when God spoke in holy splendor, “Bursting with joy, I make a present of Shechem, I hand out Succoth Valley as a gift. Gilead’s in my pocket, to say nothing of Manasseh. Ephraim’s my hard hat, Judah my hammer; Moab’s a scrub bucket, I mop the floor with Moab, Spit on Edom, rain fireworks all over Philistia.”

That thy beloved may be delivered; Save with thy right hand, and hear me. God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, And mete out the valley of Succoth. Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver; Moab is my washpot; Over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.

That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and answer us! God has spoken in His holiness: “I will exult, I will portion out Shechem and measure out the valley of Succoth. Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet of My head; Judah is My scepter. Moab is My washbowl; Over Edom I shall throw My shoe; Shout loud, O Philistia, because of Me!”

Answer us and save us by your power so the people you love will be rescued. God has said from his Temple, “When I win, I will divide Shechem and measure off the Valley of Succoth. Gilead and Manasseh are mine. Ephraim is like my helmet. Judah holds my royal scepter. Moab is like my washbowl. I throw my sandals at Edom. I shout at Philistia.”

Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the defence of my head; Judah is my sceptre. Moab is my washpot; Upon Edom will I cast my shoe: Philistia, shout thou because of me.

Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth. Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah is my scepter. Moab is my washbasin, on Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph.”

That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and hear me. God has spoken in His holiness: “I will rejoice; I will divide Shechem And measure out the Valley of Succoth. Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet for My head; Judah is My lawgiver. Moab is My washpot; Over Edom I will cast My shoe; Philistia, shout in triumph because of Me.”

That Your beloved ones may be rescued, Save with Your right hand and answer us. ¶God has spoken in His holiness [in His promises]: “I will rejoice, I will divide [the land of] Shechem and measure out the Valley of Succoth [west to east]. “Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim is My helmet; Judah is My scepter. “Moab is My washbowl; Over Edom I shall throw My shoe [in triumph]; Over Philistia I raise the shout [of victory].”

Now rescue your beloved people. Answer and save us by your power. God has promised this by his holiness: “I will divide up Shechem with joy. I will measure out the valley of Succoth. Gilead is mine, and Manasseh, too. Ephraim, my helmet, will produce my warriors, and Judah, my scepter, will produce my kings. But Moab, my washbasin, will become my servant, and I will wipe my feet on Edom and shout in triumph over Philistia.”

Come to your beloved ones and gently draw us out. For Lord, you save those whom you love. Come with your might and strength! Then I heard the Lord speak in his holy splendor. From his sanctuary I heard the Lord promise: “In my triumph I will be the one to measure out the portion of my inheritance to my people, and I will secure the land as I promised you. Shechem, Succoth, Gilead, Manasseh, they are all still mine!” he says. “Judah will continue to produce kings and lawgivers, and Ephraim will produce great warriors. Moab will become my lowly servant. Edom will likewise serve my purposes. I will lift up a shout of victory over the land of Philistia!

That your beloved ones may be delivered, give salvation by your right hand and answer us! God has spoken in his holiness: “With exultation I will divide up Shechem and portion out the Vale of Succoth. Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet; Judah is my scepter. Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
