Listen, daughter, and pay careful attention: Forget your people and your father’s house. Let the king be enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord. The city of Tyre will come with a gift, people of wealth will seek your favor. All glorious is the princess within her chamber; her gown is interwoven with gold. In embroidered garments she is led to the king; her virgin companions follow her— those brought to be with her. Led in with joy and gladness, they enter the palace of the king. Your sons will take the place of your fathers; you will make them princes throughout the land.

Hear, O daughter, and consider, and incline your ear: forget your people and your father’s house, and the king will desire your beauty. Since he is your lord, bow to him. The people of Tyre will seek your favor with gifts, the richest of the people. All glorious is the princess in her chamber, with robes interwoven with gold. In many-colored robes she is led to the king, with her virgin companions following behind her. With joy and gladness they are led along as they enter the palace of the king. In place of your fathers shall be your sons; you will make them princes in all the earth.

Listen to me, O royal daughter; take to heart what I say. Forget your people and your family far away. For your royal husband delights in your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord. The princess of Tyre will shower you with gifts. The wealthy will beg your favor. The bride, a princess, looks glorious in her golden gown. In her beautiful robes, she is led to the king, accompanied by her bridesmaids. What a joyful and enthusiastic procession as they enter the king’s palace! Your sons will become kings like their father. You will make them rulers over many lands.

Bow down to him, for he is your lord.  The daughter of Tyre, the wealthy people, will seek your favor with gifts.  In her chamber, the royal daughter is all glorious, her clothing embroidered with gold.  In colorful garments she is led to the king; after her, the virgins, her companions, are brought to you.  They are led in with gladness and rejoicing; they enter the king’s palace.  Your sons will succeed your ancestors; you will make them princes throughout the land.

Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; Forget also thine own people, and thy father's house; So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: For he is thy Lord; and worship thou him. And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; Even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour. The king's daughter is all glorious within: Her clothing is of wrought gold. She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: The virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee. With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: They shall enter into the king's palace. Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, Whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.

And the daughter of Tyre will come with a gift; The rich among the people will seek your favor. The royal daughter is all glorious within the palace; Her clothing is woven with gold. She shall be brought to the King in robes of many colors; The virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to You. With gladness and rejoicing they shall be brought; They shall enter the King’s palace. Instead of Your fathers shall be Your sons, Whom You shall make princes in all the earth.

“Now listen, daughter, don’t miss a word: forget your country, put your home behind you. Be here—the king is wild for you. Since he’s your lord, adore him. Wedding gifts pour in from Tyre; rich guests shower you with presents.” (Her wedding dress is dazzling, lined with gold by the weavers; All her dresses and robes are woven with gold. She is led to the king, followed by her virgin companions. A procession of joy and laughter! a grand entrance to the king’s palace!) “Set your mind now on sons— don’t dote on father and grandfather. You’ll set your sons up as princes all over the earth. I’ll make you famous for generations; you’ll be the talk of the town for a long, long time.”

¶Listen, daughter, look and incline your ear: Forget your people and your father’s house; Then the King will crave your beauty. Because He is your Lord, bow down to Him. The daughter of Tyre will come with a gift; The wealthy among the people will seek your favor. ¶The King’s daughter is all glorious within; Her clothing is interwoven with gold. She will be brought to the King in colorful garments; The virgins, her companions who follow her, Will be brought to You. They will be brought with joy and rejoicing; They will enter into the King’s palace. ¶In place of your fathers will be your sons; You shall make them princes in all the earth.

¶Hear, O daughter, consider and incline your ear [to my instruction]: Forget your people and your father’s house; Then the King will desire your beauty; Because He is your Lord, bow down and honor Him. The daughter of Tyre will come with a gift; The rich among the people will seek your favor. ¶Glorious is the King’s daughter within [the palace]; Her robe is interwoven with gold. [Rev 19:7, 8] She will be brought to the King in embroidered garments; The virgins, her companions who follow her, Will be brought to You. With gladness and rejoicing will they be led; They will enter into the King’s palace. ¶In place of your fathers will be your sons; You shall make princes in all the land.

Listen, O princess! Observe and pay attention! Forget your homeland and your family! Then the king will be attracted by your beauty. After all, he is your master! Submit to him! Rich people from Tyre will seek your favor by bringing a gift. The princess looks absolutely magnificent, decked out in pearls and clothed in a brocade trimmed with gold. In embroidered robes she is escorted to the king. Her attendants, the maidens of honor who follow her, are led before you. They are bubbling with joy as they walk in procession and enter the royal palace. Your sons will carry on the dynasty of your ancestors; you will make them princes throughout the land.
