One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.

My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, LORD, I will seek.

One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple.

You have said, “Seek my face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, LORD, do I seek.”

The one thing I ask of the LORD— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, delighting in the LORD’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.

My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.”

I have asked one thing from the  LORD; it is what I desire: to dwell in the house of the  LORD all the days of my life,  gazing on the beauty of the  LORD   and seeking him in his temple.

My heart says this about you: “Seek  his face.” LORD, I will seek your face.

When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

I’m asking GOD for one thing, only one thing: To live with him in his house my whole life long. I’ll contemplate his beauty; I’ll study at his feet.

Listen, GOD, I’m calling at the top of my lungs: “Be good to me! Answer me!” When my heart whispered, “Seek God,” my whole being replied, “I’m seeking him!” Don’t hide from me now!

¶One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD And to meditate in His temple.

When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “I shall seek Your face, LORD.”

¶One thing I have asked of the LORD, and that I will seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD [in His presence] all the days of my life, To gaze upon the beauty [the delightful loveliness and majestic grandeur] of the LORD And to meditate in His temple. [Ps 16:11; 18:6; 65:4; Luke 2:37]

When You said, “Seek My face [in prayer, require My presence as your greatest need],” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I will seek [on the authority of Your word].”

I have asked the LORD for one thing – this is what I desire! I want to live in the LORD’s house all the days of my life, so I can gaze at the splendor of the LORD and contemplate in his temple.

My heart tells me to pray to you, and I do pray to you, O LORD.
