Rescue me, LORD, from evildoers; protect me from the violent

Keep me safe, LORD, from the hands of the wicked; protect me from the violent, who devise ways to trip my feet.

Deliver me, O LORD, from evil men; preserve me from violent men

Guard me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from violent men, who have planned to trip up my feet.

O LORD, rescue me from evil people. Protect me from those who are violent

O LORD, keep me out of the hands of the wicked. Protect me from those who are violent, for they are plotting against me.

Rescue me, LORD, from evil men. Keep me safe from violent men

Protect me, LORD, from the power of the wicked.  Keep me safe from violent men who plan to make me stumble. 

Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: Preserve me from the violent man

Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; Preserve me from the violent man; Who have purposed to overthrow my goings.

Deliver me, O LORD, from evil men; Preserve me from violent men

Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; Preserve me from violent men, Who have purposed to make my steps stumble.

GOD, get me out of here, away from this evil; protect me from these vicious people. All they do is think up new ways to be bad; they spend their days plotting war games. They practice the sharp rhetoric of hate and hurt, speak venomous words that maim and kill. GOD, keep me out of the clutch of these wicked ones, protect me from these vicious people; All boast and swagger, they plot ways to trip me up, determined to bring me down. These crooks invent traps to catch me and do their best to incriminate me.
