The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the LORD has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. The LORD has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad. LORD, save us! LORD, grant us success! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD. From the house of the LORD we bless you. The LORD is God, and he has made his light shine on us. With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession up to the horns of the altar.

Thank you for responding to me; you’ve truly become my salvation! The stone the masons discarded as flawed is now the capstone! This is GOD’s work. We rub our eyes—we can hardly believe it! This is the very day GOD acted— let’s celebrate and be festive! Salvation now, GOD. Salvation now! Oh yes, GOD—a free and full life! Blessed are you who enter in GOD’s name— from GOD’s house we bless you! GOD is God, he has bathed us in light. Adorn the shrine with garlands, hang colored banners above the altar! You’re my God, and I thank you. O my God, I lift high your praise. Thank GOD—he’s so good. His love never quits!

[Matt 21:42; Acts 4:11; 1 Pet 2:7] This [day in which God has saved me] is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. O LORD, save now, we beseech You; O LORD, we beseech You, send now prosperity and give us success! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the LORD; We have blessed you from the house of the LORD [you who come into His sanctuary under His guardianship]. [Mark 11:9, 10] The LORD is God, and He has given us light [illuminating us with His grace and freedom and joy]. Bind the festival sacrifices with cords to the horns of the altar.

The stone which the builders discarded has become the cornerstone. This is the LORD’s work. We consider it amazing! This is the day the LORD has brought about. We will be happy and rejoice in it. Please LORD, deliver! Please LORD, grant us success! May the one who comes in the name of the LORD be blessed! We will pronounce blessings on you in the LORD’s temple. The LORD is God and he has delivered us. Tie the offering with ropes to the horns of the altar!
