For you, LORD, have delivered me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before the LORD in the land of the living. I trusted in the LORD when I said, “I am greatly afflicted”; in my alarm I said, “Everyone is a liar.”

For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling; I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living. I believed, even when I spoke: “I am greatly afflicted”; I said in my alarm, “All mankind are liars.”

He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. And so I walk in the LORD’s presence as I live here on earth! I believed in you, so I said, “I am deeply troubled, LORD.” In my anxiety I cried out to you, “These people are all liars!”

For you, LORD, rescued me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.  I will walk before the  LORD in the land of the living.  I believed, even when I said, “I am severely oppressed.”  In my alarm I said, “Everyone is a liar.”

For thou hast delivered my soul from death, Mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. I will walk before The LORD in the land of the living. I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted: I said in my haste, all men are liars.

For You have delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, And my feet from falling. I will walk before the LORD In the land of the living. I believed, therefore I spoke, “I am greatly afflicted.” I said in my haste, “All men are liars.”

I said to myself, “Relax and rest. GOD has showered you with blessings. Soul, you’ve been rescued from death; Eye, you’ve been rescued from tears; And you, Foot, were kept from stumbling.” I’m striding in the presence of GOD, alive in the land of the living! I stayed faithful, though overwhelmed, and despite a ton of bad luck, Despite giving up on the human race, saying, “They’re all liars and cheats.”

For You have rescued my soul from death, My eyes from tears, And my feet from stumbling. I shall walk before the LORD In the land of the living. I believed when I said, “I am greatly afflicted.” I said in my alarm, “All people are liars.”

For You have rescued my life from death, My eyes from tears, And my feet from stumbling and falling. I will walk [in submissive wonder] before the LORD In the land of the living. I believed [and clung to my God] when I said, “I am greatly afflicted.” [2 Cor 4:13] I said in my alarm, “All men are liars.”

Yes, LORD, you rescued my life from death, and kept my feet from stumbling. I will serve the LORD in the land of the living. I had faith when I said, “I am severely oppressed.” I rashly declared, “All men are liars.”
