Yet he took note of their distress when he heard their cry; for their sake he remembered his covenant and out of his great love he relented. He caused all who held them captive to show them mercy. Save us, LORD our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise. Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.

Nevertheless, he looked upon their distress, when he heard their cry. For their sake he remembered his covenant, and relented according to the abundance of his steadfast love. He caused them to be pitied by all those who held them captive. Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise. Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! And let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the LORD!

Even so, he pitied them in their distress and listened to their cries. He remembered his covenant with them and relented because of his unfailing love. He even caused their captors to treat them with kindness. Save us, O LORD our God! Gather us back from among the nations, so we can thank your holy name and rejoice and praise you. Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting! Let all the people say, “Amen!”

He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives. Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, To give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise. Still, when God saw the trouble they were in and heard their cries for help, He remembered his Covenant with them, and, immense with love, took them by the hand. He poured out his mercy on them while their captors looked on, amazed. Save us, GOD, our God! Gather us back out of exile So we can give thanks to your holy name and join in the glory when you are praised!

He also made them objects of compassion In the presence of all their captors. ¶Save us, LORD our God, And gather us from the nations, To give thanks to Your holy name And glory in Your praise. ¶Nevertheless He looked [sympathetically] at their distress When He heard their cry; And He remembered His covenant for their sake, And relented [rescinding their sentence] according to the greatness of His lovingkindness [when they cried out to Him], He also made them objects of compassion Among those who had carried them away captive. [2 Kin 25:27-30] ¶Save us, O LORD our God, And gather us from among the nations, That we may give thanks to Your holy name And glory in praising You. Yet he took notice of their distress, when he heard their cry for help. He remembered his covenant with them, and relented because of his great loyal love. He caused all their conquerors to have pity on them. Deliver us, O LORD, our God! Gather us from among the nations! Then we will give thanks to your holy name, and boast about your praiseworthy deeds. The LORD God of Israel deserves praise, in the future and forevermore. Let all the people say, “We agree! Praise the LORD!”
