Psalms 102:13-18
Psalms 102:12-22 The Message (MSG)
Yet you, GOD, are sovereign still, always and ever sovereign. You’ll get up from your throne and help Zion— it’s time for compassionate help. Oh, how your servants love this city’s rubble and weep with compassion over its dust! The godless nations will sit up and take notice —see your glory, worship your name— When GOD rebuilds Zion, when he shows up in all his glory, When he attends to the prayer of the wretched. He won’t dismiss their prayer. Write this down for the next generation so people not yet born will praise GOD: “GOD looked out from his high holy place; from heaven he surveyed the earth. He listened to the groans of the doomed, he opened the doors of their death cells.” Write it so the story can be told in Zion, so GOD’s praise will be sung in Jerusalem’s streets And wherever people gather together along with their rulers to worship him.
Psalms 102:13-18 King James Version (KJV)
Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: For the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, And favour the dust thereof. So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, And all the kings of the earth thy glory. When the LORD shall build up Zion, He shall appear in his glory. He will regard the prayer of the destitute, And not despise their prayer. This shall be written for the generation to come: And the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
Psalms 102:13-18 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
You will arise and have compassion on Zion; For it is time to be gracious to her, For the appointed time has come. Surely Your servants find pleasure in her stones And feel pity for her dust. So the nations will fear the name of the LORD And all the kings of the earth Your glory. For the LORD has built up Zion; He has appeared in His glory. He has regarded the prayer of the destitute And has not despised their prayer. This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the LORD.
Psalms 102:13-18 New Century Version (NCV)
You will come and have mercy on Jerusalem, because the time has now come to be kind to her; the right time has come. Your servants love even her stones; they even care about her dust. Nations will fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings on earth will honor you. The LORD will rebuild Jerusalem; there his glory will be seen. He will answer the prayers of the needy; he will not reject their prayers. Write these things for the future so that people who are not yet born will praise the LORD.
Psalms 102:13-18 American Standard Version (ASV)

Psalms 102:13-18 New International Version (NIV)
You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come. For her stones are dear to your servants; her very dust moves them to pity. The nations will fear the name of the LORD, all the kings of the earth will revere your glory. For the LORD will rebuild Zion and appear in his glory. He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; he will not despise their plea. Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the LORD

You will arise and have compassion on Zion, For it is time to be gracious and show favor to her; Yes, the appointed time [the moment designated] has come. [Ps 12:5; 119:126] For Your servants find [melancholy] pleasure in the stones [of her ruins] And feel pity for her dust. So the nations will fear the name of the LORD, And all the kings of the earth [will recognize] Your glory. [Ps 96:9] For the LORD has built up Zion; He has appeared in His glory and brilliance; He has regarded the prayer of the destitute, And has not despised their prayer. ¶Let this be recorded for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created will praise the LORD.
Psalms 102:13-18 New Living Translation (NLT)
You will arise and have mercy on Jerusalem— and now is the time to pity her, now is the time you promised to help. For your people love every stone in her walls and cherish even the dust in her streets. Then the nations will tremble before the LORD. The kings of the earth will tremble before his glory. For the LORD will rebuild Jerusalem. He will appear in his glory. He will listen to the prayers of the destitute. He will not reject their pleas. Let this be recorded for future generations, so that a people not yet born will praise the LORD.
Psalms 102:13-18 The Passion Translation (TPT)
I know you are about to arise and show your tender love to Zion. Now is the time, Lord, for your compassion and mercy to be poured out— the appointed time has come for your prophetic promises to be fulfilled! For your servants weep in sympathy over Zion’s ruins and feel love for her every stone. When you arise to intervene, all the nations and kings will be stunned and will fear your awesome name, trembling before your glory! Yes, you will reveal yourself to Zion and appear in the brightness of your glory to restore her and give her children. He responds to the prayer of the poor and broken and will not despise the cry of the homeless. Write all this down for the coming generation, so re-created people will read it and praise the Lord!
