The Reubenites and Gadites, who had very large herds and flocks, saw that the lands of Jazer and Gilead were suitable for livestock.

So Moses gave Gilead to the Makirites, the descendants of Manasseh, and they settled there.

Now the people of Reuben and the people of Gad had a very great number of livestock. And they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, and behold, the place was a place for livestock.

And Moses gave Gilead to Machir the son of Manasseh, and he settled in it.

The tribes of Reuben and Gad owned vast numbers of livestock. So when they saw that the lands of Jazer and Gilead were ideally suited for their flocks and herds

So Moses gave Gilead to the Makirites, descendants of Manasseh, and they settled there.

The Reubenites and Gadites had a very large number of livestock. When they surveyed the lands of Jazer  and Gilead, they saw that the region was a good one for livestock.

So Moses gave Gilead to the clan of Machir son of Manasseh, and they settled in it.

Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle

And Moses gave Gilead unto Machir the son of Manasseh; and he dwelt therein.

Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of livestock; and when they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, that indeed the region was a place for livestock

So Moses gave Gilead to Machir the son of Manasseh, and he dwelt in it.

The families of Reuben and Gad had huge herds of livestock. They saw that the country of Jazer and Gilead was just the place for grazing livestock. And so they came, the families of Gad and of Reuben, and spoke to Moses and Eleazar the priest and the leaders of the congregation, saying, “Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Sebam, Nebo, and Beon—the country that GOD laid low before the community of Israel—is a country just right for livestock, and we have livestock.”

The family of Makir son of Manasseh went to Gilead, captured it, and drove out the Amorites who lived there. Moses then gave Gilead to the Makirites, the descendants of Manasseh. They moved in and settled there.

Now the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad had a very large number of livestock. So when they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, that it was indeed a place suitable for livestock

So Moses gave Gilead to Machir the son of Manasseh, and he lived in it.

Now the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad had very large herds of cattle, and they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead [on the east side of the Jordan River], and indeed, the place was suitable for raising livestock.

So Moses gave Gilead to [the tribe of] Machir the son of Manasseh, and they settled in it.

Now the Reubenites and the Gadites possessed a very large number of cattle. When they saw that the lands of Jazer and Gilead were ideal for cattle

So Moses gave Gilead to Machir, son of Manasseh, and he lived there.
