“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).

but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.

“Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’”

But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus.

See, the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel ,  which is translated “God is with us.”

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

and knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

While he was trying to figure a way out, he had a dream. God’s angel spoke in the dream: “Joseph, son of David, don’t hesitate to get married. Mary’s pregnancy is Spirit-conceived. God’s Holy Spirit has made her pregnant. She will bring a son to birth, and when she does, you, Joseph, will name him Jesus—‘God saves’—because he will save his people from their sins.” This would bring the prophet’s embryonic revelation to full term: Watch for this—a virgin will get pregnant and bear a son; They will name him Immanuel (Hebrew for “God is with us”).

Then Joseph woke up. He did exactly what God’s angel commanded in the dream: He married Mary. But he did not consummate the marriage until she had the baby. He named the baby Jesus.

“BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN WILL CONCEIVE AND GIVE BIRTH TO A SON, AND THEY SHALL NAME HIM IMMANUEL,” which translated means, “GOD WITH US.”

“BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD AND GIVE BIRTH TO A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL”—which, when translated, means, “GOD WITH US.” [Is 7:14]

but he kept her a virgin until she had given birth to a Son [her firstborn child]; and he named Him Jesus (The LORD is salvation).

“ Look! The virgin will conceive and bear a son, and they will call him Emmanuel ,” which means “God with us.”

but did not have marital relations with her until she gave birth to a son, whom he named Jesus.
