Go easy on those who hesitate in the faith. Go after those who take the wrong way. Be tender with sinners, but not soft on sin. The sin itself stinks to high heaven.

And of some have compassion, making a difference

And have mercy on some, who are doubting

Show mercy to some people who have doubts.

And on some have mercy, who are in doubt

Be merciful to those who doubt

And on some have compassion, making a distinction

And have mercy on some, who are doubting

And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering.

Keep being compassionate to those who still have doubts

And have mercy on those who doubt
