Hosea 8:1-3
Hosea 8:1-3 The Message (MSG)
“Blow the trumpet! Sound the alarm! Vultures are circling over God’s people Who have broken my covenant and defied my revelation. Predictably, Israel cries out, ‘My God! We know you!’ But they don’t act like it. Israel will have nothing to do with what’s good, and now the enemy is after them.
Hosea 8:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law. Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know thee. Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him.
Hosea 8:1-3 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
Put the trumpet to your lips! Like an eagle the enemy comes against the house of the LORD, Because they have transgressed My covenant And rebelled against My law. They cry out to Me, “My God, we of Israel know You!” Israel has rejected the good; The enemy will pursue him.
Hosea 8:1-3 New Century Version (NCV)
“Put the trumpet to your lips and give the warning! The enemy swoops down on the LORD’s people like an eagle. The Israelites have broken my agreement and have turned against my teachings. They cry out to me, ‘Our God, we in Israel know you!’ But Israel has rejected what is good, so the enemy will chase them.
Hosea 8:1-3 American Standard Version (ASV)

Hosea 8:1-3 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Set the trumpet to your lips [announcing impending judgment]! Like a [great] vulture the enemy comes against the house of the LORD, Because they have broken My covenant And transgressed and rebelled against My law. Then they will cry out to Me, “My God, we of Israel know You!” Israel has rejected the good; The enemy shall pursue him.
Hosea 8:1-3 New Living Translation (NLT)
“Sound the alarm! The enemy descends like an eagle on the people of the LORD, for they have broken my covenant and revolted against my law. Now Israel pleads with me, ‘Help us, for you are our God!’ But it is too late. The people of Israel have rejected what is good, and now their enemies will chase after them.
