So, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you hear his voice

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear his voice

But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

That is why the Holy Spirit says, “Today when you hear his voice

You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you hear his voice

But encourage each other daily,  while it is still called today , so that none of you is hardened  by sin’s deception.

Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice

but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Now, if we can only keep a firm grip on this bold confidence, we’re the house! That’s why the Holy Spirit says, Today, please listen; don’t turn a deaf ear as in “the bitter uprising,” that time of wilderness testing! Even though they watched me at work for forty years, your ancestors refused to let me do it my way; over and over they tried my patience. And I was provoked, oh, so provoked! I said, “They’ll never keep their minds on God; they refuse to walk down my road.” Exasperated, I vowed, “They’ll never get where they’re going, never be able to sit down and rest.”

So watch your step, friends. Make sure there’s no evil unbelief lying around that will trip you up and throw you off course, diverting you from the living God. For as long as God’s still calling it Today, keep each other on your toes so sin doesn’t slow down your reflexes. If we can only keep our grip on the sure thing we started out with, we’re in this with Christ for the long haul. These words keep ringing in our ears: Today, please listen; don’t turn a deaf ear as in the bitter uprising.

Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says, “TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE

But encourage one another every day, as long as it is still called “today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says, “TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE

But continually encourage one another every day, as long as it is called “Today” [and there is an opportunity], so that none of you will be hardened [into settled rebellion] by the deceitfulness of sin [its cleverness, delusive glamour, and sophistication].

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “ Oh , that today you would listen as he speaks!

But exhort one another each day, as long as it is called “Today,” that none of you may become hardened by sin’s deception.
