Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing.

Then the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’

Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in years. The way of women had ceased to be with Sarah.

The LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Shall I indeed bear a child, now that I am old?’

Abraham and Sarah were both very old by this time, and Sarah was long past the age of having children.

Then the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh? Why did she say, ‘Can an old woman like me have a baby?’

Abraham and Sarah were old and getting on in years.  Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.

But the LORD asked Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Can I really have a baby when I’m old? ’

Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.

And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?

Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.

And the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’

Abraham and Sarah were old by this time, very old. Sarah was far past the age for having babies. Sarah laughed within herself, “An old woman like me? Get pregnant? With this old man of a husband?”

GOD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh saying, ‘Me? Have a baby? An old woman like me?’ Is anything too hard for GOD? I’ll be back about this time next year and Sarah will have a baby.”

Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in age; Sarah was past childbearing.

But the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I actually give birth to a child, when I am so old?’

Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in years; she was past [the age of] childbearing.

And the LORD asked Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh [to herself], saying, ‘Shall I really give birth [to a child] when I am so old?’

Abraham and Sarah were old and advancing in years; Sarah had long since passed menopause.)

The LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child when I am old?’
