to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

to be renewed  in the spirit  of your minds, and to put on  , the new self, the one created  according to God’s likeness  in righteousness and purity of the truth.

And be kind  and compassionate  to one another, forgiving  one another, just as God also forgave you  in Christ.

and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

But that’s no life for you. You learned Christ! My assumption is that you have paid careful attention to him, been well instructed in the truth precisely as we have it in Jesus. Since, then, we do not have the excuse of ignorance, everything—and I do mean everything—connected with that old way of life has to go. It’s rotten through and through. Get rid of it! And then take on an entirely new way of life—a God-fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your conduct as God accurately reproduces his character in you.

Make a clean break with all cutting, backbiting, profane talk. Be gentle with one another, sensitive. Forgive one another as quickly and thoroughly as God in Christ forgave you.

and that you are to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

and be continually renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh, untarnished mental and spiritual attitude], and put on the new self [the regenerated and renewed nature], created in God’s image, [godlike] in the righteousness and holiness of the truth [living in a way that expresses to God your gratitude for your salvation].

Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [readily and freely], just as God in Christ also forgave you.

to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and to put on the new man who has been created in God’s image – in righteousness and holiness that comes from truth.
