1 Samuel 3:18-20
1 Samuel 3:18-21 The Message (MSG)
So Samuel told him, word for word. He held back nothing. Eli said, “He is GOD. Let him do whatever he thinks best.” Samuel grew up. GOD was with him, and Samuel’s prophetic record was flawless. Everyone in Israel, from Dan in the north to Beersheba in the south, recognized that Samuel was the real thing—a true prophet of GOD. GOD continued to show up at Shiloh, revealed through his word to Samuel at Shiloh.
1 Samuel 3:18-20 King James Version (KJV)
And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good. And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. And all Israel from Dan even to Beer-sheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.
