Judges 10:16-18

The book of Judges tells the story of Israel’s repeated cycle of turning away from God, facing the consequences, and being rescued by leaders called Judges. This reading plan highlights how God sets a standard, keeps his promises, and patiently calls his people back to him—again and again. Through it all, we see that God never gives up on his people and still desires a relationship with us today.

This plan is a guide to discover God’s story as it unfolds in the Bible - from Genesis through Revelation. Over 12 days, each devotional will introduce one part of that story. Each will list the Scripture passages covering that period, and dates, highlight its main points and briefly summarize the part it plays within the context of God’s redemptive plan. The Bible reading each day should take about 30 minutes.

But God’s desire for us in life is to slow down and live lives of intentional discipleship; to develop lasting faith in a fast culture.

This reading plan spans one year with daily bite-sized chunks of devotions and scripture to help you stay focused, at a comfortable pace and without overwhelming yourself. As you begin your walk through the bible, you'll start to hear, read, study, memorize, meditate, and apply God's word in your life.
