In this final plan in the Songs of Praise Series, join Dr. Mark Rae to look at a psalm that may summarize all the others: Psalm 8. In its nine wonderful verses, we see David extol and praise God in all His glory; God’s plan for creation in His Son; and renewed praise for who God is.

This study, through the book of Hebrews, is designed to help believers in Christ Jesus live a victorious life of faith. It is called Faith Adventures because this study is derived from Chingtok Ishaku's book titled Faith Adventures.

This plan will explore what the letter of Hebrews can teach us in four different areas. 1) WHO GOD IS: God’s character and nature 2) WHO WE ARE: the identity of humanity and/or followers of Jesus 3) WHAT WE BELIEVE: core Christian doctrines 4) HOW WE LIVE: putting faith into action

While the Old Testament priest advocated for the people before God, he was still a sinner. Christ, on the other hand, is our sinless high priest who has nevertheless walked in our shoes, experienced our temptations, and felt an earned and complete sympathy for us. He is not only priest but sacrifice, purchasing our forgiveness; and not only does He forgive, but His Spirit transforms us. He is indeed a Great High Priest!
