Leviticus 24
24
1And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
2‘Command the sons of Israel, and they bring unto thee pure olive oil, beaten, for the lamp, to cause a light to go up continually;
3at the outside of the vail of the testimony in the tent of meeting doth Aaron arrange it from evening till morning before Jehovah continually — a statute age-during to your generations;
4by the pure candlestick he doth arrange the lights before Jehovah continually.
5‘And thou hast taken flour, and hast baked twelve cakes with it, two tenth deals are in the one cake,
6and thou hast set them two ranks (six in the rank) on the pure table before Jehovah,
7and thou hast put on the rank pure frankincense, and it hath been to the bread for a memorial, a fire-offering to Jehovah.
8‘On each sabbath-day he arrangeth it before Jehovah continually, from the sons of Israel — a covenant age-during;
9and it hath been to Aaron, and to his sons, and they have eaten it in the holy place, for it [is] most holy to him, from the fire-offerings of Jehovah — a statute age-during.’
10And a son of an Israelitish woman goeth out (and he [is] son of an Egyptian man), in the midst of the sons of Israel, and strive in the camp do the son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel,
11and the son of the Israelitish woman execrateth the Name, and revileth; and they bring him in unto Moses; and his mother's name [is] Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan;
12and he causeth him to rest in charge — to explain to them by the mouth of Jehovah.
13And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
14‘Bring out the reviler unto the outside of the camp; and all those hearing have laid their hands on his head, and all the company have stoned him.
15‘And unto the sons of Israel thou dost speak, saying, When any man revileth his God — then he hath borne his sin;
16and he who is execrating the name of Jehovah is certainly put to death; all the company do certainly cast stones at him; as a sojourner so a native, in his execrating the Name, is put to death.
17‘And when a man smiteth any soul of man, he is certainly put to death.
18‘And he who smiteth a beast repayeth it, body for body.
19‘And when a man putteth a blemish in his fellow, as he hath done so it is done to him;
20breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he putteth a blemish in a man so it is done in him.
21‘And he who smiteth a beast repayeth it, and he who smiteth [the life of] man is put to death;
22one judgment is to you; as a sojourner so is a native; for I [am] Jehovah your God.’
23And Moses speaketh unto the sons of Israel, and they bring out the reviler unto the outside of the camp, and stone him with stones; and the sons of Israel have done as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

The Tabernacle Lamps
Ex 27:20–21
1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 2#Ex 27:20–21Command the children of Israel that they bring to you pure olive oil beaten for the lamp, to cause the lamps to burn continually. 3Outside the veil of the sanctuary, in the tent of meeting, Aaron shall arrange it continually, from the evening until the morning before the Lord. It shall be a perpetual statute in your generations. 4#Ex 31:8; 39:37He shall arrange the lamps continually on the pure gold lampstand before the Lord.
The Bread of the Tabernacle
5#Ex 25:30; 40:23You shall take wheat flour and bake twelve cakes. Two-tenths of an ephah#Likely about 7 pounds, or 3.2 kilograms. shall be in each cake. 6#1Ki 7:48; Ex 25:23–24You shall set them in two rows, six in a row, on the pure gold table before the Lord. 7#Lev 2:2You shall put pure frankincense on each row, so that it may be on the bread for a memorial, a food offering made by fire to the Lord. 8#Nu 4:7; 2Ch 2:4Every Sabbath he shall set it in order continually before the Lord, with the portion taken from the children of Israel by a perpetual covenant. 9#Lev 8:31; Mt 12:4; Mk 2:26It shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place, for it is most holy to him of the food offerings of the Lord made by fire by a perpetual statute.
The Punishment for Blasphemy
10The son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel, and this son of the Israelite woman and a man of Israel fought together in the camp. 11#Ex 3:15; 18:22And the Israelite woman’s son blasphemed the name of the Lord and cursed. And they brought him to Moses. (His mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.) 12#Ex 18:15–16; Nu 15:34And they put him in custody, so that the words of the Lord might be shown to them.
13The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 14#Dt 17:7; Lev 20:27Bring outside the camp him who has cursed, and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let the entire congregation stone him. 15#Lev 5:1; Nu 9:13You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin. 16#Mt 12:31Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death, and the entire congregation shall certainly stone him. The foreigner as well as the native in the land, when he blasphemes the name, then he shall be put to death.
17#Ge 9:5–6; Dt 19:11–12Whoever kills any man shall surely be put to death. 18#Lev 24:21Whoever kills an animal shall make restitution, animal for animal. 19#Dt 19:21; Mt 5:38If anyone causes injury to his neighbor, as he has done, so shall it be done to him, 20#Dt 19:21; Mt 5:38fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he has caused an injury to another, so shall it be done to him. 21#Lev 24:17–18Whoever kills an animal shall make restitution. And whoever kills a man shall be put to death. 22#Ex 12:49; Nu 9:14You shall have one manner of law for the foreigner as for the native, for I am the Lord your God.
23So Moses spoke to the children of Israel, and they brought outside the camp him who had cursed, and stoned him. And the children of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses.
