Numeri 9:23

For millions of people in Central Asia, the "yurt" is not only a nomadic dwelling, but an important part of culture, history, and even daily life. What can this remarkable mobile architecture teach us for our spiritual life? Over seven days, we’ll look at this enduring structure and discover unexpected parallels to the Christian life. This plan invites us to pause and see familiar things differently and reflect on living meaningfully and faithfully for God wherever our "yurt" stands today.

When the Bible is confusing, Through the Word explains it--with clear and concise audio guides for every chapter. Here in Numbers, the Israelites find themselves in the vast, dry desert, waiting for God to lead them into the Promised Land. But first they must learn some crucial lessons on how to live, how to trust, and how to follow the invisible God. Kris Langham leads you through chapters 1-13.

The series contains short, encouraging devotionals, prayers, and Scripture passages that will help you encounter God in mighty ways--on HIS supernatural territory! As you walk through this series, let the Scriptures inspire and challenge your faith, so that the Holy Spirit can take you to a new level of intimacy with Jesus.

In the book of Numbers, God demonstrates himself as a pillar of fire and a pillar of smoke, faithfully leading his often rebellious people through the wilderness. Although the faithless wilderness generation was barred from entering the promised land, God was raising up a generation to lead the people from their wandering into the conquest of the land of Canaan.
