Fifth Vision: Gold Lampstand
1The angel who was speaking with me then returned and roused me as one awakened out of sleep. 2He asked me, “What do you see? ”
I replied, “I see a solid gold lampstand there with a bowl on its top. It has seven lamps on it and seven channels for each of # Or seven lips to the lamps on its top. 3There are also two olive trees beside it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left.”
4Then I asked the angel who was speaking with me, “What are these, my lord? ”
5“Don’t you know what they are? ” replied the angel who was speaking with me.
I said, “No, my lord.”
6So he answered me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by strength or by might, but by My Spirit,’ # Hs 1:7; Hg 2:4-5 says the Lord of Hosts. 7‘What are you, great mountain? # Mt 17:20; 21:21; 1Co 13:2 Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain. # Is 40:4 And he will bring out the capstone accompanied by shouts of: Grace, grace to it! ’ ”
8Then the word of the Lord came to me: # Zch 6:9 9“Zerubbabel’s hands have laid the foundation of this house, # Ezr 3:8-11; 5:16 and his hands will complete it. Then you will know that the Lord of Hosts has sent me to you. 10For who scorns the day of small things? # Hg 2:3-4 These seven eyes of the Lord, which scan throughout the whole earth, will rejoice when they see the plumb line # Lit the tin stone in Zerubbabel’s hand.” # 2Ch 16:9; Ps 34:15; Pr 15:3; Am 9:8; 1Pt 3:12
11I asked him, “What are the two olive trees on the right and left of the lampstand? ” 12And I questioned him further, “What are the two olive branches beside the two gold conduits, from which golden oil pours out? ”
13Then he inquired of me, “Don’t you know what these are? ”
“No, my lord,” I replied.
14“These are the two anointed ones,” # = Joshua and Zerubbabel # Jr 33:17-22 he said, “who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.” # Rv 11:3-4

The Candlestick and the Olive Trees
1And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep, 2and said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: 3#Rev 11.4. and two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. 4So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? 5Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 6#Ezra 5.2. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerub´babel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. 7Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerub´babel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. 8Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, 9The hands of Zerub´babel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. 10#Rev 5.6. For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerub´babel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Rev 11.4. Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? 12And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches, which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? 13And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 14Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
