Psalm 96
1Sing to the Lord a new song!
Sing to the Lord, all the earth!
2Sing to the Lord! Praise his name!
Day after day announce that the Lord saves his people.
3Tell people about his glory.
Tell all the nations about his miracles.
4The Lord is great!
He should be highly praised.
He should be feared more than all ⌞other⌟ gods
5because all the gods of the nations are idols.
The Lord made the heavens.
6Splendor and majesty are in his presence.
Strength and beauty are in his holy place.
7Give to the Lord, you families of the nations.
Give to the Lord glory and power.
8Give to the Lord the glory he deserves.
Bring an offering, and come into his courtyards.
9Worship the Lord in ⌞his⌟ holy splendor.
Tremble in his presence, all the earth!
10Say to the nations, “The Lord rules as king!”
The earth stands firm; it cannot be moved.
He will judge people fairly.
11Let the heavens rejoice and the earth be glad.
Let the sea and everything in it roar like thunder.
12Let the fields and everything in them rejoice.
Then all the trees in the forest will sing joyfully
13in the Lord’s presence because he is coming.
He is coming to judge the earth.
He will judge the world with righteousness and its people with his truth.

PSALM 96
1Sing ye unto Jehovah a new song: sing unto Jehovah, all the earth. 2Sing unto Jehovah, bless his name; publish his salvation from day to day. 3Declare his glory among the nations, his wondrous works among all the peoples. 4For Jehovah is great and exceedingly to be praised; he is terrible above all gods. 5For all the gods of the peoples are idols; but Jehovah made the heavens. 6Majesty and splendour are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. 7Give unto Jehovah, ye families of peoples, give unto Jehovah glory and strength; 8Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name; bring an oblation and come into his courts; 9Worship Jehovah in holy splendour; tremble before him, all the earth.
10Say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth! yea, the world is established, it shall not be moved; he will execute judgment upon the peoples with equity. 11Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; 12Let the field exult and all that is therein. Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy, 13Before Jehovah, for he cometh; for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness.
