Psalms 145
145
Psalm 145#145:0 Psalm 145 is a poem in Hebrew alphabetical order.
A song of praise by David.
1I will highly praise you, my God, the king.
I will bless your name forever and ever.
2I will bless you every day.
I will praise your name forever and ever.
3The Lord is great, and he should be highly praised.
His greatness is unsearchable.
4One generation will praise your deeds to the next.
Each generation will talk about your mighty acts.
5I will think about the glorious honor of your majesty
and the miraculous things you have done.
6People will talk about the power of your terrifying deeds,
and I will tell about your greatness.
7They will announce what they remember of your great goodness,
and they will joyfully sing about your righteousness.
8The Lord is merciful, compassionate, patient,
and always ready to forgive.
9The Lord is good to everyone
and has compassion for everything that he has made.
10Everything that you have made will give thanks to you, O Lord,
and your faithful ones will praise you.
11Everyone will talk about the glory of your kingdom
and will tell the descendants of Adam about your might
12in order to make known your mighty deeds
and the glorious honor of your kingdom.
13Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom.
Your empire endures throughout every generation.
14The Lord supports everyone who falls.
He straightens ⌞the backs⌟ of those who are bent over.
15The eyes of all creatures look to you,
and you give them their food at the proper time.
16You open your hand,
and you satisfy the desire of every living thing.
17The Lord is fair in all his ways
and faithful in everything he does.
18The Lord is near to everyone who prays to him,
to every faithful person who prays to him.
19He fills the needs of those who fear him.
He hears their cries for help and saves them.
20The Lord protects everyone who loves him,
but he will destroy all wicked people.
21My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord,
and all living creatures will praise his holy name
forever and ever.

Psalms 145
145
Praise by David.
1I exalt Thee, my God, O king, And bless Thy name to the age and for ever.
2Every day do I bless Thee, And praise Thy name to the age and for ever.
3Great [is] Jehovah, and praised greatly, And of His greatness there is no searching.
4Generation to generation praiseth Thy works, And Thy mighty acts they declare.
5The honour — the glory of Thy majesty, And the matters of Thy wonders I declare.
6And the strength of Thy fearful acts they tell, And Thy greatness I recount.
7The memorial of the abundance of Thy goodness they send forth. And Thy righteousness they sing.
8Gracious and merciful [is] Jehovah, Slow to anger, and great in kindness.
9Good [is] Jehovah to all, And His mercies [are] over all His works.
10Confess Thee O Jehovah, do all Thy works, And Thy saints do bless Thee.
11The honour of Thy kingdom they tell, And [of] Thy might they speak,
12To make known to sons of men His mighty acts, The honour of the majesty of His kingdom.
13Thy kingdom [is] a kingdom of all ages, And Thy dominion [is] in all generations.
14 Jehovah is supporting all who are falling, And raising up all who are bowed down.
15The eyes of all unto Thee do look, And Thou art giving to them their food in its season,
16Opening Thy hand, and satisfying The desire of every living thing.
17Righteous [is] Jehovah in all His ways, And kind in all His works.
18Near [is] Jehovah to all those calling Him, To all who call Him in truth.
19The desire of those fearing Him He doth, And their cry He heareth, and saveth them.
20 Jehovah preserveth all those loving Him, And all the wicked He destroyeth.
21The praise of Jehovah my mouth speaketh, And all flesh doth bless His holy name, To the age and for ever!
