Psalm 100
A psalm of thanksgiving.
1Shout happily to the Lord, all the earth.
2Serve the Lord cheerfully.
Come into his presence with a joyful song.
3Realize that the Lord alone is God.
He made us, and we are his.#100:3 Many Hebrew manuscripts, Greek, Targum, Latin; other Hebrew manuscripts “and not we ourselves.”
We are his people and the sheep in his care.
4Enter his gates with a song of thanksgiving.
Come into his courtyards with a song of praise.
Give thanks to him; praise his name.
5The Lord is good.
His mercy endures forever.
His faithfulness endures throughout every generation.

Psalms 100
100
1-2On your feet now—applaud God!
Bring a gift of laughter,
sing yourselves into his presence.
3Know this: God is God, and God, God.
He made us; we didn’t make him.
We’re his people, his well-tended sheep.
4Enter with the password: “Thank you!”
Make yourselves at home, talking praise.
Thank him. Worship him.
5For God is sheer beauty,
all-generous in love,
loyal always and ever.
