Grain and Wine Made Part of the Sacrifices to the LORD
1The Lord said to Moses, 2“Speak to the Israelites and tell them: Once you’re settled in the land I’m giving you, 3you may bring offerings by fire to the Lord. They may be burnt offerings or any other kind of sacrifice. They may be offered to fulfill a vow, as a freewill offering, or as one of your festival offerings. They may be cattle, sheep, or goats—offerings that are a soothing aroma to the Lord. 4Whoever brings the offering must also give the Lord a grain offering of eight cups of flour mixed with one quart of olive oil. 5With each sheep or goat for the burnt offering or any other sacrifice, also give an offering of one quart of wine.
6“With a ram, give a grain offering of 16 cups of flour mixed with 1¼ quarts of oil 7and an offering of 1¼ quarts of wine. Offer them as a soothing aroma to the Lord.
8“Suppose you sacrifice a young bull as a burnt offering to the Lord or make any other kind of sacrifice—to keep a vow or as a fellowship offering. 9Offer with the young bull a grain offering of 24 cups of flour mixed with two quarts of olive oil. 10Also give an offering of two quarts of wine. It is an offering by fire, a soothing aroma to the Lord. 11Do this for each bull, each ram, and each sheep or goat. 12Do it for each animal, however many you sacrifice. 13All native-born Israelites must do it this way when they bring an offering by fire, a soothing aroma to the Lord.
14“Suppose foreigners are visiting you or living among you in future generations. If they bring an offering by fire, a soothing aroma to the Lord, they must do as you do. 15There is one law for the whole assembly: for you and foreigners who are living with you. It is a permanent law for future generations. As far as the Lord is concerned, you and foreigners are the same. 16The instructions and rules are the same for you as well as foreigners who are living with you.”
Offering the First Bread Dough to the LORD
17The Lord said to Moses, 18“Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you enter the land where I’m taking you 19and eat any of the food from the land, give some of it as a contribution to the Lord. 20Shape one part of your dough into a ring the same way you do with the contribution you make from the threshing floor.#15:20 A threshing floor is an outdoor area where grain is separated from its husks. 21For generations to come, you must give one part of your dough as a contribution to the Lord.
What Is to Be Done about Unintentional and Intentional Wrongdoings
22“Suppose you unintentionally do something wrong by not obeying all these commands the Lord gave Moses. 23(Everything the Lord commanded you through Moses holds as true for generations to come as it did the day the Lord gave the commands.) 24If it was unintentional and no one else knows about it, the whole community must sacrifice a young bull as a burnt offering, a soothing aroma to the Lord, along with the proper grain and wine offerings, and a male goat as an offering for sin. 25The priest will make peace with the Lord for the whole community of Israel. Then they will be forgiven because the wrongdoing was unintentional and they brought these two offerings to the Lord for their sin: an offering by fire and an offering for sin. 26So the whole community of Israel will be forgiven, including foreigners who are living among them, since all the people were involved in the unintentional wrongdoing.
27“If one person unintentionally does something wrong, a one-year-old female goat must be sacrificed as an offering for sin. 28The priest will offer the sacrifice to make peace with the Lord for that person, and that person will be forgiven. 29You must give the same instructions to everyone who does something wrong unintentionally, whether they are native-born Israelites or not.
30“But any native-born Israelite or foreigner who deliberately does something wrong insults the Lord and must be excluded from the people. 31That person has despised the Lord’s word and broken the Lord’s command. He must be excluded completely. He remains guilty.”
A Man Breaks the Rules for the Day of Rest
32While the Israelites were in the desert, they found a man gathering wood on the day of rest—a holy day. 33Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole community. 34They kept him in custody until they decided what to do with him.
35Then the Lord said to Moses, “This man must be put to death. The whole community must take him outside the camp and stone him.” 36So the whole community took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the Lord commanded Moses.
The Israelites Are Commanded to Wear Tassels
37The Lord said to Moses, 38“Speak to the Israelites and tell them: For generations to come they must wear tassels on the corners of their clothes with violet threads in each tassel. 39Whenever you look at the threads in the tassel, you will remember all the Lord’s commands and obey them. Then you won’t do whatever you want and go after whatever you see, as if you were chasing after prostitutes. 40You will remember to obey all my commands, and you will be holy to your God. 41I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to be your God. I am the Lord your God.”

Numbers 15
15
1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of your dwellings, which I give unto you, 3and will make an offering by fire to Jehovah, a burnt-offering or a sacrifice for the performance of a vow, or as a voluntary offering, or in your set feasts, to make a sweet odour to Jehovah, of the herd or of the flock, 4then shall he that presenteth his offering to Jehovah bring as oblation a tenth part of fine flour mingled with a fourth part of a hin of oil; 5and of wine for a drink-offering shalt thou offer the fourth part of a hin with the burnt-offering, or with the sacrifice, for one lamb. 6And for a ram thou shalt offer as oblation two tenth parts of fine flour mingled with oil, a third part of a hin, 7and of wine for a drink-offering shalt thou offer the third part of a hin; for a sweet odour to Jehovah. 8And when thou offerest a bullock for a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice for the performance of a vow, or for a peace-offering to Jehovah, 9then shall they present with the bullock as oblation three tenth parts of fine flour mingled with half a hin of oil; 10and of wine shalt thou present half a hin, for a drink-offering, as an offering by fire, of a sweet odour to Jehovah. 11Thus shall it be done for one ox, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or for a kid; 12according to the number that ye offer, so shall ye do to every one according to their number. 13And all that are born in the land shall do these things thus, in presenting an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah. 14And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whoever be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah, — as ye do, so shall he do. 15As to the congregation, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an everlasting statute throughout your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be, before Jehovah. 16One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you. 17And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 18Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you, 19then it shall be, when ye eat of the bread of the land, that ye shall offer a heave-offering to Jehovah; 20the first of your dough shall ye offer, a cake, for a heave-offering; as the heave-offering of the threshing-floor, so shall ye offer this. 21Of the first of your dough ye shall give to Jehovah a heave-offering throughout your generations.
22And if ye sin inadvertently, and do not all these commandments, which Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses, 23all that Jehovah hath commanded you through Moses, from the day that Jehovah gave commandment, and henceforward throughout your generations; 24then it shall be, if ought be committed by inadvertence hid from the eyes of the assembly, that the whole assembly shall offer one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet odour to Jehovah, and its oblation and its drink-offering according to the ordinance, and one buck of the goats for a sin-offering. 25And the priest shall make atonement for the whole assembly of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it was a sin of inadvertence, and they have brought before Jehovah their offering, as an offering by fire to Jehovah, and their sin-offering for their sin of inadvertence; 26and it shall be forgiven the whole assembly of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; for with all the people there was a sin of inadvertence. 27And if one soul sin through inadvertence, then he shall present a yearling she-goat for a sin-offering. 28And the priest shall make atonement for the soul that hath done inadvertently, when he sinneth by inadvertence before Jehovah, to make atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. 29For him that is born in the land among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them — there shall be one law for you, for him who doeth anything through inadvertence.
30But the soul that doeth ought with a high hand, whether born in the land, or a stranger, he reproacheth Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 31For he hath despised the word of Jehovah, and hath broken his commandment: that soul shall surely be cut off; his iniquity is upon him. 32And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness they found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day. 33And they that found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to the whole assembly. 34And they put him in custody, for it was not declared what should be done to him. 35And Jehovah said to Moses, The man shall certainly be put to death: the whole assembly shall stone him with stones outside the camp. 36And the whole assembly led him outside the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
37And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 38Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them tassels on the corners of their garments, throughout their generations, and that they attach to the tassel of the corners a lace of blue; 39and it shall be unto you for a tassel, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of Jehovah, and do them; and that ye seek not after the lusts of your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye go a whoring; 40that ye may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God#GodHebrew: Elohim 41I am Jehovah your God#GodHebrew: Elohim who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God#GodHebrew: Elohim I am Jehovah your God#GodHebrew: Elohim.
