Giving thanks is one gift that is truly ours to give and is only given freely. It flows from a work deep within us whilst at the same time lifting us to a place beyond ourselves. As destruction unfolds around him, Habakkuk questions God and His plans. God’s response to Habakkuk reminds us that He alone orders the unfolding of history.
