Psalm 27

The Lord Is My Light and My Salvation

1The Lord is my #Isa. 60:20; Mic. 7:8; [Ps. 84:11] light and my #Ps. 118:14; Ex. 15:2; Isa. 12:2; 62:11 salvation;

# See Ps. 23:4 whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the stronghold#27:1 Or refuge of my life;

of whom shall I be afraid?

2When evildoers assail me

to #Ps. 14:4eat up my flesh,

my adversaries and foes,

it is they who stumble and fall.

3 # Ps. 3:6 Though an army encamp against me,

my heart shall not fear;

though war arise against me,

yet#27:3 Or in this I will be confident.

4 # [ Ps. 26:8; 84:1, 2 ] One thing have I asked of the Lord,

that will I seek after:

that I may #Ps. 23:6; 65:4; [Luke 2:37] dwell in the house of the Lord

all the days of my life,

to gaze upon #Ps. 90:17the beauty of the Lord

and to inquire#27:4 Or meditate in his temple.

5For he will #Ps. 31:20; [Ps. 91:1; Job 5:21; Isa. 4:6] hide me in his shelter

in the day of trouble;

he will conceal me under the cover of his tent;

he will #Ps. 40:2lift me high upon a rock.

6And now my #Ps. 3:3 head shall be lifted up

above my enemies all around me,

and I will offer in his tent

sacrifices with shouts of #[Num. 10:10] joy;

# Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16 I will sing and make melody to the Lord.

7 # Ps. 30:10 Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud;

be gracious to me and answer me!

8You have said, #Ps. 24:6; 105:4“Seek#27:8 The command (seek) is addressed to more than one person my face.”

My heart says to you,

“Your face, Lord, do I seek.”#27:8 The meaning of the Hebrew verse is uncertain

9 # Ps. 69:17; 102:2; 143:7 Hide not your face from me.

Turn not your servant away in anger,

O you who have been my help.

Cast me not off; forsake me not,

# See Ps. 24:5 O God of my salvation!

10For #[Isa. 49:15; 63:16] my father and my mother have forsaken me,

but the Lord will #[Isa. 40:11]take me in.

11 # See Ps. 25:4 Teach me your way, O Lord,

and lead me on #[Ps. 5:8]a level path

because of my enemies.

12 # Ps. 41:2 Give me not up to the will of my adversaries;

for #Ps. 35:11; [1 Kgs. 21:13; Matt. 26:59, 60; Mark 14:55, 56] false witnesses have risen against me,

and they #Acts 9:1breathe out violence.

13I believe that I shall look#27:13 Other Hebrew manuscripts Oh! Had I not believed that I would look upon #Ex. 33:19 the goodness of the Lord

in #Ps. 52:5; 116:9; 142:5; Job 28:13the land of the living!

14 # Ps. 37:34; 62:5; Prov. 20:22 Wait for the Lord;

# Ps. 31:24; Deut. 31:7; Josh. 1:6, 9, 18 be strong, and let your heart take courage;

wait for the Lord!

찬양의 노래

(다윗의 시)

1여호와는 나의 빛,

나의 구원이시니

내가 누구를 두려워하리요?

여호와는 내 생명의 피난처이신데

내가 누구를 무서워하리요?

2악한 내 원수들이

나를 치러 올지라도

발이 걸려 넘어지리라.

3강한 군대가 나를 포위하고

진격해 올지라도

내가 두려워하지 않을 것이며

전쟁이 일어나

적군이 나를 칠지라도

내가 여전히 #27:3 또는 ‘안연하리라’하나님을 의지하리라.

4내가 여호와께 간청한

한 가지 일을 구하리니

내가 평생 여호와의 집에서 살며

그의 아름다움을 바라보고

성전에서 그를 묵상하는 일이다.

5환난 날에 여호와께서

나를 성전에 숨기시고

그의 처소에서

나를 안전하게 보호하시며

나를 높은 바위 위에 두시리라.

6내 원수들이 나를 둘러싸도

나에게 미치지 못할 것이니

내가 여호와께

기쁨으로 제사를 드리고

노래하며 그를 찬양하리라.

7여호와여,

내가 부르짖을 때 들으시고

나를 불쌍히 여기셔서 응답하소서.

8 # 27:8 또는 ‘너희는 내 얼굴을 찾아라’ “나와서 나를 경배하라” 고

주께서 말씀하셨을 때 내 마음이

“여호와여, 내가 나갑니다”

하고 대답하였습니다.

9주의 얼굴을

내게서 숨기지 마시고

분노로 주의 종을 버리지 마소서.

내가 어려움을 당할 때

주는 나의 도움이 되셨습니다.

나의 구원의 하나님이시여,

나를 버리지 마시고

나를 떠나지 마소서.

10내 부모는 나를 버릴지 몰라도

여호와는

나를 맞아 주실 것입니다.

11여호와여,

주의 길을 나에게 가르치소서.

내 원수들이 나를

둘러싸고 있습니다.

나를 안전한 길로 인도하소서.

12나를 내 대적의 손에 맡기지 마소서.

그들이 나에 대하여

거짓 증언을 하며

폭력으로 나를 치려고 합니다.

13나는 아직도 이것만은 확신한다.

내가 #27:13 또는 ‘산 자의 땅에서’살아 있는 이 땅에서

여호와의 선하심을 보리라.

14여호와를 바라보아라!

용기와 믿음을 가지고

여호와를 신뢰하여라.
