My Help Comes from the Lord
A Song of #[See Ps. 120, title]Ascents.
1I #See Ps. 123:1 lift up my eyes to #Ps. 87:1; 133:3; Jer. 3:23; [Ps. 48:1]the hills.
From where does my help come?
2 #
Ps. 124:8; [Ps. 20:2] My help comes from the Lord,
who #See Ps. 115:15made heaven and earth.
3He will not #Ps. 66:9; Prov. 3:23, 26; [1 Sam. 2:9] let your foot be moved;
he who #Ps. 41:2; 127:1; [Isa. 27:3]; See Ps. 97:10keeps you will not slumber.
4Behold, he who keeps Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5The Lord is your keeper;
the Lord is your #Ps. 91:1 shade on your #See Ps. 16:8right hand.
6 #
Isa. 49:10; Rev. 7:16 The sun shall not #2 Kgs. 4:19; Jonah 4:8strike you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7The Lord will #[See ver. 3 above]keep you from all evil;
he will #[See ver. 3 above]keep your life.
8The Lord will keep
your #Deut. 28:6; 31:2; [Num. 27:17; 1 Sam. 29:6; 1 Kgs. 3:7; Acts 1:21]going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore.

Psalms 121
121
PSALM 121.
1I rejoiced at the things that were said to me: We shall go into the house of the Lord.
2Our feet were standing in thy courts, O Jerusalem.
3Jerusalem, which is built as a city, which is compact together.
4For thither did the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord: the testimony of Israel, to praise the name of the Lord.
5Because their seats have sat in judgment, seats upon the house of David.
6Pray ye for the things that are for the peace of Jerusalem: and abundance for them that love thee.
7Let peace be in thy strength: and abundance in thy towers.
8For the sake of my brethren, and of my neighbours, I spoke peace of thee.
9Because of the house of the Lord our God, I have sought good things for thee.
