Great Are the Lord’s Works
1 # 111:1 This psalm is an acrostic poem, each line beginning with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet #See Ps. 104:35 Praise the Lord!
I #Ps. 138:1 will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart,
in the company of #[Ps. 149:1]the upright, in the congregation.
2Great are the #Ps. 92:5; Rev. 3:2; [Ps. 139:14] works of the Lord,
#
Ps. 119:45, 94, 155; [Ps. 112:1; 143:5] studied by all who delight in them.

Ps. 145:5 Full of splendor and majesty is his work,
and his #Ps. 112:3, 9righteousness endures forever.
4He has #[Ps. 78:4]caused his wondrous works to be remembered;
the Lord is gracious and merciful.
5He provides food for those who fear him;
he #See Ps. 105:8remembers his covenant forever.
6He has shown his people the power of his works,
in giving them the inheritance of the nations.
7The works of his hands are faithful and just;
all his precepts are #Ps. 93:5; [Ps. 19:7]trustworthy;
8they are #Isa. 40:8; Matt. 5:18 established forever and ever,
to be performed with #Ps. 19:9; Rev. 15:3faithfulness and uprightness.
9He sent #[Matt. 1:21]; Luke 1:68 redemption to his people;
he has #[Ps. 133:3] commanded his covenant forever.

Ps. 99:3; Luke 1:49; [Ps. 8:1] Holy and awesome is his name!

Prov. 9:10; See Prov. 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have #[Prov. 3:4; 13:15; John 7:17] a good understanding.
His #[Ps. 44:8]praise endures forever!

1Praise Hashem. I will praise Hashem with kol levav, in the Sod (company, council) of the Yesharim (upright ones), and in the Edah (assembly).
2The ma'asei Hashem are gedolim, derushim (sought out, pondered) of all them that have delight therein.
3His po'al (deed, work) is glorious and majestic; and His tzedakah (righteousness) endureth forever.
4He hath caused His nifla'ot (wonderful works) to be remembered; Hashem is channun (gracious) and rachum (compassionate).
5He hath given food unto them that fear Him; He will be mindful of His Brit (covenant) l'olam.
6He hath showed His people the ko'ach of His works, that He may give them the nachalat Goyim.
7The works of His hands are emes and mishpat; all His pikkudim (precepts, commands) are ne'emanim (sure, trustworthy ones).
8They stand fast la'ad l'olam (forever and ever), and are done in emes and yashar (uprightness).
9He sent redemption unto His people; He hath ordained His Brit (covenant) l'olam (forever); Kadosh (holy) and Nora (awesome, reverend) is Shmo.
10The fear of Hashem is the reshit chochmah; seichel tov have all they that live by it; His tehillah (praise) endureth forever.
