Matthew 17:14-21

Like your muscles, if your faith is not used it will atrophy. So you have to exercise it regularly. Start with this 3-day reading plan! Let your faith work and receive the grace from God!

This reading plan takes you from a heavenly peak to the raw reality of the valley. From glory to disappointment. But above all, to the discovery that faith doesn’t start with great confidence in yourself, but with radical trust in God. With humor, Bible verses, and honest questions, this plan helps you become small enough to believe big.

We are all familiar with the phrase, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” It means that a person won’t accept something on blind faith, they need evidence before committing to believing it. But the spiritual life of a Christian reverses that and says, “Believing is seeing.” Tony Evans explains how Christians can see miracles if they commit to believing first.

Have you ever wondered whether you have enough faith? Perhaps you've read Jesus' words about "little faith" and "mustard-seed faith," and worried that your trust isn't strong enough or imagining it as a special kind of faith. Yet Jesus wasn't inviting His disciples to measure their faith. Throughout these four days, we'll discover that faith is learned by knowing Him and, from that, becoming more instinctively dependent on Him. We'll follow Peter, Abraham, and Paul through years of their individual faith journeys.
