Psalms 128
128
PSALM 128.
1A gradual canticle.
Often have they fought against me from my youth, let Israel now say.
2Often have they fought against me from my youth: but they could not prevail over me.
3The wicked have wrought upon my back: they have lengthened their iniquity.
4The Lord who is just will cut the necks of sinners:
5let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Sion.
6Let them be as grass on the tops of houses: which withered before it be plucked up:
7Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand: nor he that gathereth sheaves his bosom.
8And they that have passed by have not said: The blessing of the Lord be upon you: we have blessed you in the name of the Lord.

Psalms 128
128
Psalm 128
A song for going up to worship.
1Blessed are all who fear the Lord
and live his way.
2You will certainly eat what your own hands have provided.
Blessings to you!
May things go well for you!
3Your wife will be like a fruitful vine inside your home.
Your children will be like young olive trees around your table.
4This is how the Lord will bless the person who fears him.
5May the Lord bless you from Zion
so that you may see Jerusalem prospering
all the days of your life.
6May you live to see your children’s children.
Let there be peace in Israel!
