1 Corinthians 6
6
1DARE any of you, having a matter against another, go to be judged before the unjust, and not before the saints?
2Know you not that the saints shall judge this world? And if the world shall be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3Know you not that we shall judge angels? how much more things of this world?
4If therefore you have judgments of things pertaining to this world, set them to judge, who are the most despised in the church.
5I speak to your shame. Is it so that there is not among you any one wise man, that is able to judge between his brethren?
6But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before unbelievers.
7Already indeed there is plainly a fault among you, that you have lawsuits one with another. Why do you not rather take wrong? Why do you not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
8But you do wrong and defraud, and that to your brethren.
9Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,
10Nor the effeminate, nor liers with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor railers, nor extortioners, shall possess the kingdom of God.
11And such some of you were; but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of our God.
12All things are lawful to me, but all things are not expedient. All things are lawful to me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
13Meat for the belly, and the belly for the meats; but God shall destroy both it and them: but the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
14Now God hath both raised up the Lord, and will raise us up also by his power.
15Know you not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16Or know you not, that he who is joined to a harlot, is made one body? For they shall be, saith he, two in one flesh.
17But he who is joined to the Lord, is one spirit.
18Fly fornication. Every sin that a man doth, is without the body; but he that committeth fornication, sinneth against his own body.
19Or know you not, that your members are the temple of the Holy Ghost, who is in you, whom you have from God; and you are not your own?
20For you are bought with a great price. Glorify and bear God in your body.

Mt 18.17. When one of you has a grievance against a brother, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints? 2Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? 3Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, matters pertaining to this life! 4If then you have such cases, why do you lay them before those who are least esteemed by the church? 5I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no man among you wise enough to decide between members of the brotherhood, 6but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers?

Mt 5.39-40. To have lawsuits at all with one another is defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? 8But you yourselves wrong and defraud, and that even your own brethren.

1 Cor 15.50. Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor sexual perverts, 10nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11#Acts 22.16; Rom 8.30. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

1 Cor 10.23. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be enslaved by anything. 13“Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power. 15#Rom 12.5; 1 Cor 12.27. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I therefore take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! 16#Gen 2.24; Mt 19.5; Mk 10.8; Eph 5.31. Do you not know that he who joins himself to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, “The two shall become one flesh.” 17#Jn 17.21-23; Rom 8.9; Gal 2.20. But he who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. 18Shun immorality. Every other sin which a man commits is outside the body; but the immoral man sins against his own body. 19#1 Cor 3.16; Jn 2.21. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? You are not your own; 20#1 Cor 7.23; Acts 20.28; Rom 12.1. you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
