Galatians 6
6
1Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 2Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. 3For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. 4But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5For every man shall bear his own burden.
6Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
7Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Paul Glories in the Cross
11Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand. 12As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. 13For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. 14But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. 15For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. 16And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
17From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
Benediction
18Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Galatians 6

Carry One Another’s Burdens
1Brothers, if someone is caught in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual should restore such a person with a gentle # Jms 3:13 spirit, # Ps 51:12 watching out for yourselves so you also won’t be tempted. # Jms 1:13 2Carry one another’s burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. # 1Co 9:21 3For if anyone considers himself to be something when he is nothing, # 1Co 3:18; 2Co 12:11; Gl 2:6 he deceives himself. 4But each person should examine his own work, # Mk 14:6; Gl 3:10; Jms 2:14-26 and then he will have a reason for boasting in himself alone, and not in respect to someone else. 5For each person will have to carry his own load.
6The one who is taught the message must share # Rm 15:27; 1Pt 5:2 all his good things with the teacher. 7Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows he will also reap, 8because the one who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit # Ps 51:11; Jn 1:33; Ac 2:4; Rm 8:9; Gl 5:25; Ti 3:5; Rv 3:22 will reap eternal life # Jn 12:25; Ac 13:48 from the Spirit. 9So we must not get tired # 2Th 3:13 of doing good, # Lk 18:18; Jms 4:17 for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up. 10Therefore, as we have opportunity, we must work # 2Jn 8 for the good # Gn 1:31; 3Jn 11 of all, especially for those who belong to the household # 1Tm 5:8 of faith. # Jd 3
Concluding Exhortation
11Look at what large letters I use as I write to you in my own handwriting. 12Those who want to make a good impression in the flesh # Php 3:3 are the ones who would compel you to be circumcised # Ac 15:1 — but only to avoid being persecuted # 2Tm 3:12 for the cross # Php 3:18 of Christ. 13For even the circumcised don’t keep # Lk 11:28 the law themselves; however, they want you to be circumcised in order to boast about your flesh. 14But as for me, I will never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. The world has been crucified to me through the cross, and I to the world. 15For # Other mss add in Christ Jesus both circumcision and uncircumcision # Col 3:11 mean nothing; what matters instead is a new creation. # Jn 1:3; Rv 3:14 16May peace come to all those who follow this standard, and mercy to the Israel # Lk 3:8 of God!
17From now on, let no one cause me trouble, because I bear on my body scars for the cause of Jesus. # Php 3:10 18Brothers, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. # Ps 51:12 Amen.
