ORDSPRÅKSBOKEN 20:3

In Judaism, peace—shalom—is rooted in the Hebrew word shalem, which means “whole” or “complete.” True shalom implies that diverse parties purposely set aside their differences and agree to see the good in one another, not just living alongside but among one another for a higher calling or purpose. This devotional plan explores 12 different steps we can all take toward achieving shalom in our lives.

It's not the big fights that destroy relationships; it's the thousand small silences, dismissive tones, and conversations held while staring at screens. Your words hold the power of life and death. They can build bridges or burn them down. Over 14 days, discover what your communication reveals about your heart, break destructive patterns like harsh words and distracted listening, and learn to speak truth wrapped in love. This isn't about communicating better; it's about transformation from the inside out. Fair warning: you'll see yourself in these pages. But on the other side? Words that heal instead of harm.

In this series, Pastor Rick walks through the steps you can take to deal with the people in your life that make you crazy, and, in doing so, please the Lord. “When we please the Lord, even our enemies make friends with us” (Proverbs 16:7 CEV).
