Colossians 4
4
1 Masters, grant that which is just and equal to your slaves,* knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
Further Injunctions
2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving,* 3 praying at the same time for us as well, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned— 4 so that I may make it clear, just as it is obligatory for me to speak.
5 Walk in wisdom towards the outsiders, redeeming the time*. 6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone.
Paul’s Fellow Workers in the Lord
7 Everything that concerns me, Tychicus, my beloved brother and faithful servant and fellow servant in the Lord, will make known to you, 8 whom I have sent to you for this very purpose, that you may know our situations,* and that he may encourage your hearts, 9 and along with him Onesimus, my faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you.* They will make known to you the whole situation* here.
10 Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, greets you, and Mark, the cousin of Barnabas (concerning whom you have received instructions; if he comes to you, welcome him), 11 and Jesus who is called Justus. These are my* only fellow workers for the kingdom of God who are from the circumcision—who have been a consolation to me. 12 Epaphras, who is one of you, greets you, a servant of Christ Jesus,** always struggling for you in his prayers,* so that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God. 13 For I bear him witness that he has great concern for you and for those in Laodicea and Hierapolis. 14 Luke, the beloved* physician, greets you, as well as Demas. 15 Greet the brothers in Laodicea, as well as Nympha and the church in her house. 16 And after this letter has been read among you, ensure that it is also read in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you also read the letter from Laodicea. 17 And say to Archippus, “See to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, so that you may bring it to completion.”*
Final Greeting and Benediction
18. I, Paul, write this greeting in my own hand.* Remember my imprisonment. Grace be with you.*
