Psalms 125
125
The Security of God's People
1Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion,
which can never be shaken, never be moved.
2As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the LORD surrounds his people
now and for ever.
3The wicked will not always rule over the land of the righteous;
if they did, the righteous themselves might do evil.
4 LORD, do good to those who are good,
to those who obey your commands.
5But when you punish the wicked,
punish also those who abandon your ways.
Peace be with Israel!

Tehillim (Psalms) 125
125
1Those who trust in יהוה Are like Mount Tsiyon – It is not shaken, it remains forever.
2As the mountains surround Yerushalayim, So יהוה surrounds His people, Now and forever.
3For the sceptre of wrongness shall not rest On the land allotted to the righteous, Lest the righteous stretch forth their hands to unrighteousness.
4Do good, O יהוה, to those who are good, And to those who are upright in their hearts.
5But those who turn aside to their crooked ways, יהוה shall lead them away With the workers of wickedness. Peace be upon Yisra’ĕl!
