Leviticus 20

Penalties for Disobedience
1The LORD told Moses 2to say to the people of Israel, “Any of you or any foreigner living among you who gives any of his or her children to be used in the worship of the god Molech shall be stoned to death by the whole community. 3If anyone gives one of his children to Molech and makes my sacred Tent unclean and disgraces my holy name, I will turn against him and will no longer consider him one of my people. 4But if the community ignores what he has done and does not put him to death, 5I myself will turn against the man and his whole family and against all who join him in being unfaithful to me and worshipping Molech. I will no longer consider them my people.
6“If anyone goes for advice to people who consult the spirits of the dead, I will turn against him and will no longer consider him one of my people. 7Keep yourselves holy, because I am the LORD your God. 8Obey my laws, because I am the LORD and I make you holy.”

Lev 18.12–14
If a man has intercourse with his aunt, both of them must suffer the consequences for incest. 20If a man has intercourse with his uncle's wife, he disgraces his uncle, and he and the woman will pay the penalty; neither of them will have children. 21#Lev 18.16If a man marries his brother's wife, they will die childless. He has done a ritually unclean thing and has disgraced his brother.
22The LORD said, “Keep all my laws and commands, so that you will not be rejected by the land of Canaan, into which I am bringing you. 23Do not adopt the customs of people who live there; I am driving out those pagans so that you can enter the land. They have disgusted me with all their evil practices. 24But I have promised you this rich and fertile land as your possession, and I will give it to you. I am the LORD your God, and I have set you apart from the other nations. 25So then, you must make a clear distinction between animals and birds that are ritually clean and those that are not. Do not eat unclean animals or birds. I have declared them unclean, and eating them would make you unclean. 26You shall be holy and belong only to me, because I am the LORD and I am holy. I have set you apart from the other nations so that you would belong to me alone.
27“Any man or woman who consults the spirits of the dead shall be stoned to death; any person who does this is responsible for his own death.”

Leviticus 20

Idols and the Occult
1Adonai spoke to Moses saying:
2“Moreover, you are to tell Bnei-Yisrael: Anyone from Bnei-Yisrael or from the outsiders dwelling in Israel, who gives any of his children to Molech, should surely be put to death. The people of the land are to stone him with rocks.
3I also will set My face against such a person and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given his children to Molech, defiling My Sanctuary and profaning My holy Name.
4But if the people of the land all hide their eyes from that person, when he gives of his seed to Molech, and do not put him to death,
5then I will set My face against that man and against his family, and will cut him off, along with all who play the prostitute after him with Molech, from among their people.
6“The soul that turns to mediums or to soothsayers, prostituting himself with them, I will set My face against that soul and will cut him off from among his people.
7So consecrate yourselves and be holy, for I am Adonai your God.
8You are to keep My statutes, and do them. I am Adonai who sanctifies you.
9“Any man who curses his father or his mother should surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or mother, and his blood should be on him.
10“The man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, who commits adultery with his friend’s wife, both the adulterer and the adulteress should surely be put to death.
11“If a man lies with his father’s wife, and has uncovered his father’s nakedness, both of them should surely be put to death, and their blood should be on them.
12If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them should surely be put to death. They have committed a perversion, and their blood should be on them.
13If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination, and they should surely be put to death. Their blood should be on them.
14If a man takes a wife and her mother, it is wickedness. They should be burned with fire—both he and they, so that there may be no wickedness among you.
15If a man lies with an animal, he should surely be put to death, and you are to kill the animal.
16If a woman approaches any animal, and lies down with it, you are to kill the woman and the animal. They should surely be put to death, and their blood should be on them.
17If a man takes his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and sees her nakedness, and she his, it is a shameful thing. They are to be cut off in the sight of the children of their people, for he has uncovered his sister’s nakedness, and will bear his iniquity.
18If a man lies with a woman during her niddah and exposes her nakedness, he has exposed her flow and she has uncovered the flow of her blood. Both of them are to be cut off from among their people.
19You are not to uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, or your father’s sister, for the one who does that has made his close relative naked, and will bear his iniquity.
20If a man lies with his aunt, he has uncovered his uncle’s nakedness. They should bear their sin, and die childless.
21If a man takes his brother’s wife, it is an impurity. He has uncovered his brother’s nakedness, and they will be childless.
22“Now you are to keep all My statutes and all My ordinances and do them, so that the land where I am bringing you to dwell will not vomit you out.
23You are not to walk in the ways of the nation which I am casting out before you, for they did all these things and therefore I abhorred them.
24But I have said to you, ‘You will inherit their land and I will give it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey.’ I am Adonai your God, who has set you apart from the peoples.
25“Also you are to make a distinction between the clean animal and the unclean, and between the unclean bird and the clean. And you are not to make your souls detestable by an animal or by a bird, or by anything with which the ground teems, which I have set apart as unclean for you.
26You are to be holy to Me, for I, Adonai, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, so that you would be Mine.
27“A man or a woman who is a medium or is a soothsayer should surely be put to death. They should stone them with rocks, and their blood should be on them.’”
