Sealm 81
1God mihtig stod godum on gemange,
and he hi on midle mægene tosceadeð.
2Hu lange deme ge domas unrihte,
and ge onfoð ansyna synnwyrcendra?
3Demað steopcildum domas soðe
and eadmedum eac þæt sylfe,
wædlum and ðearfum wel soðfæstum.
4Ge of firenfulra fæcnum handum
þearfan and wædlan þriste alysað.
5Ne ongeatan hi ne geara wistan,
ac hi on ðystrum þrage eodan;
ealle abeofedan eorðan staþelas.
6Ic ærest cwæð : “ge synd uppe godu,
ealle uphea, and æðele bearn.
7Ge þonne sweltað samod mid mannum,
swa ealdormann an gefealleð.”
8Aris Drihten, nu! dem eorðware,
forþan þu eart erfeweard ealra ðeoda.
