God is our loving, faithful, reliable Father who continuously supports, stabilizes and secures every one of his children. God is concerned about every detail of our lives. In the Rear Guard Bible Plan readers will discover biblical truths regarding God’s promises of protection, provision and deliverance despite any obstacle. God fights our battles and handles unexpected surprise attacks from the enemy. There is absolutely no plan that can succeed against Him.

This week, I invite you to discover (or rediscover) several names of God. Together we’ll see what they teach us about our incredibly marvelous God! I am sure that you’ll be blessed by what we discover this week.

In our fast-paced, over-inundated society, we struggle with being alone. Most of us can’t bear even the thought. And yet, to embrace who God’s called us to be, we must become comfortable with the discipline of solitude. What we discover in solitude is our most authentic self. And if we can fully embrace who we are, we can step into our God-given purpose.
