What would it have been like to be in Bethlehem on the night that Jesus was born? Imagine being a shepherd and hearing a sky-full of angels singing! This three-day plan takes children to the town and hillside to dwell for a while in the Bible story. The plan complements the free children’s game app Guardians of Ancora.

Heaven had a plan from the very beginning. Heaven’s plan was to bring us a Savior; this Savior, though human, was God Himself. Hay held the Savior who would save our hearts. Heaven’s plan began to be unfolded in the Old Testament, centuries before the birth of Christ.

"All is calm. All is bright." This busy time of year can feel anything but calm or bright. Yet, the season of Advent calls us to stay alert to the peace and light Christ brought in His birth and His eventual return. To help us sharpen our gaze, we will incorporate artwork from the Abide Bible alongside Advent Scripture verses to prepare our hearts for Jesus' arrival.
