Being a “man of God” can be tough. Being a “young man of God” can be even tougher. Whenever someone asks us if we believe in premarital sex we respond by saying “yes and no.” It’s a confusing answer at first, but it gives us an opportunity to make an important point. God affirms our sexuality as human beings and we ­can’t suddenly become asexual. For this reason, we believe in premarital sexuality. We are quick to follow up, however, by saying that having genital sex before marriage is clearly not in line with God’s principles.

Make God’s dream yours and pursue it with all your heart. He will honor your faith, love, and loyalty, no matter the cost. Bring all your needs to God. If there is something you need, ask for it. Every time you ask God for something, you glorify your Father in heaven. Asking God for things is not a sign of selfishness; it’s a sign of dependence.
