Throughout the Bible, Jesus made clear statements about who He was. There was no ambiguity about His life, His mission, and His purpose. Many times in the scriptures we find God declares, “I am…” In this three-day devotional that centers around the Easter story, we explore some of the “I AM” statements that God made and what that means for us. Because He is risen, I am free!

Easter celebrates the faithfulness of God. He always comes through. Jesus’ death and resurrection remind us that even when life is difficult and the outlook is bleak, God is still working —and His plan is better than you can imagine.

In every stage of life and the human experience, there is the One who understands what we are going through. We are not alone and suffering is not some sort of vague part of life. In the midst of suffering, we gain a greater understanding of what Christ did for us - No matter how dark things may seem, no matter how difficult things may seem, He is with us.
