Tehillim (Psalms) 53
53
1The fool has said in his heart, “There is no Elohim.” They have done corruptly, And they have done abominable unrighteousness; No one does good.
2Elohim looked down from the heavens on the children of men, To see if there is a wise one, seeking Elohim.
3They have all turned aside; They have together become filthy; No one is doing good, not even one.
4Have the workers of wickedness no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call on Elohim?
5There they are in great fear, Where no fear was, For Elohim shall scatter the bones Of him who encamps against you. You shall put them to shame, For Elohim has rejected them.
6O that the deliverance of Yisra’ĕl Would be given out of Tsiyon! When Elohim turns back the captivity of His people, Let Ya‛aqoḇ rejoice, let Yisra’ĕl be glad.

Psalm 53
53
There Is None Who Does Good
To the choirmaster: according to #Ps. 88, titleMahalath. A Maskil#53:1 Probably musical or liturgical terms of David.
1 # For ver. 1-6, see Ps. 14:1-7 The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, doing abominable iniquity;
there is none who does good.
2God looks down from heaven
on the children of man
to see if there are any who understand,#53:2 Or who act wisely
who seek after God.
3They have all fallen away;
together they have become corrupt;
there is none who does good,
not even one.
4Have those who work evil no knowledge,
who eat up my people as they eat bread,
and do not call upon God?
5There they are, in great terror,
# [Lev. 26:17, 36; Prov. 28:1] where there is no terror!
For God #Ps. 89:10; 141:7; Jer. 8:1, 2; Ezek. 6:5scatters the bones of him who encamps against you;
you put them to shame, for God has rejected them.
6Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
When God restores the fortunes of his people,
let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.
