Tehillim (Psalms) 121
121
1I lift up my eyes to the hills; Where does my help come from?
2My help comes from יהוה, Maker of the heavens and earth.
3He does not allow your foot to be moved; He who watches over you does not slumber.
4See, He who is guarding Yisra’ĕl Neither slumbers nor sleeps.
5יהוה is your guard; יהוה is your shade at your right hand.
6The sun does not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.
7יהוה guards you from all evil; He guards your being.
8יהוה guards your going out and your coming in Now and forever.

Psalms 121
121
1-2I look up to the mountains;
does my strength come from mountains?
No, my strength comes from God,
who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.
3-4He won’t let you stumble,
your Guardian God won’t fall asleep.
Not on your life! Israel’s
Guardian will never doze or sleep.
5-6 God’s your Guardian,
right at your side to protect you—
Shielding you from sunstroke,
sheltering you from moonstroke.
7-8 God guards you from every evil,
he guards your very life.
He guards you when you leave and when you return,
he guards you now, he guards you always.
