Marqos (Mark) 1
1
1The beginning of the Good News of יהושע Messiah, the Son of Elohim.
2As it has been written in the Prophets, “See, I send My messenger before Your face, who shall prepare Your way before You,# Mal. 3:1
3a voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way of יהוה, make His paths straight.’ ”# Isa. 40.3
4Yoḥanan came immersing in the wilderness and proclaiming an immersion of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
5And all the country of Yehuḏah, and those of Yerushalayim, went out to him and were all immersed by him in the Yardĕn River, confessing their sins.
6And Yoḥanan was clothed with camel’s hair and a leather girdle around his waist, and eating locusts and wild honey.
7And he proclaimed, saying, “After me comes One who is mightier than I, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to stoop down and loosen.
8I indeed did immerse you in water, but He shall immerse you in the Set-apart Spirit.
9And it came to be in those days that יהושע came from Natsareth of Galil, and was immersed by Yoḥanan in the Yardĕn.
10And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit coming down on Him like a dove.
11And a voice came out of the heavens, “You are My Son, the Beloved, in whom I did delight.”
12And immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness.
13And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tried by Satan, and was with the wild beasts. And the messengers attended Him.
14And after Yoḥanan was delivered up, יהושע came to Galil, proclaiming the Good News of the reign of Elohim,
15and saying, “The time has been filled, and the reign of Elohim has come near. Repent, and believe in the Good News.”
16And walking by the Sea of Galil, He saw Shim‛on, and Andri his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishers.
17And יהושע said to them, “Come, follow Me, and I shall make you become fishers of men.”
18And immediately they left their nets and followed Him.
19And having gone on a little from there, He saw Ya‛aqoḇ the son of Zaḇdai, and Yoḥanan his brother, and they were in the boat mending their nets.
20And immediately He called them, and leaving their father Zaḇdai in the boat with the hired servants, they went after Him.
21And they went into Kephar Naḥum, and immediately on the Sabbath He went into the congregation and taught.
22And they were astonished at His teaching, for He was teaching them as possessing authority, and not as the scribes.
23And there was a man in their congregation with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,
24saying, “Ha! What have we to do with You, יהושע of Natsareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are: the Set-apart One of Elohim!”
25And יהושע rebuked him, saying, “Be silenced, and come out of him!”
26And throwing him into convulsions, the unclean spirit called out with a loud voice, and came out of him.
27And they were all so amazed, as to reason among themselves, saying, “What is this, a fresh teaching? With authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him!”
28And news about Him immediately spread into all the country around Galil.
29And coming out of the congregation, they went straight to the house of Shim‛on and Andri, with Ya‛aqoḇ and Yoḥanan.
30And the mother-in-law of Shim‛on lay sick with inflammation, and immediately they spoke to Him about her.
31And having come, He took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the inflammation left her, and she served them.
32And when evening came, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon-possessed.
33And the entire city had gathered at the door.
34And He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons, and was not allowing the demons to speak, because they knew Him.
35And having risen very early in the morning, while still dark, He went out, and went away to a lonely place, and there He prayed.
36And Shim‛on and those who were with Him searched for Him,
37and when they found Him, they said to Him, “All are seeking You.”
38And He said to them, “Let us go into the neighbouring towns, so that I proclaim there also, because for this I have come forth.”
39And He was proclaiming in their congregations, in all Galil, and casting out demons.
40And a leper came to Him, calling upon Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You desire, You are able to make me clean.”
41And יהושע, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I desire it. Be cleansed.”
42And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.
43And having strictly warned him, He immediately sent him away,
44and said to him, “See, say none at all to anyone, but go show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing what Mosheh ordered, as a witness to them.”
45But he went out and began to publish it so much, and to spread the word, that יהושע was no longer able to openly enter the city, but was outside in lonely places. Yet they came to Him from all directions.

Mark 1
1
Mark 1
1¶ The beginning of the gospel of Jesus, the Christ, Son of God,
2as it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way before thee.
3The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord; make his paths straight.
4John baptized in the wilderness and preached the baptism of repentance for remission of sins.
5And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea and those of Jerusalem and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.
6John was clothed with camel’s hair and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he ate locusts and wild honey
7and preached, saying, There comes one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.
8I indeed have baptized you with water, but he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit.
9¶ And it came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth a city of Galilee and was baptized of John in the Jordan.
10And as soon as he was come out of the water, John saw the heavens opened and the Spirit like a dove descending and resting upon him;
11and there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my dear Son, in whom I delight.
12And immediately the Spirit drove him into the wilderness.
13And he was there in the wilderness forty days and forty nights and was tempted of Satan and was with the wild beasts, and the angels ministered unto him.
14¶ Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God
15and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent ye and believe the gospel.
16Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea, for they were fishers.
17And Jesus said unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
18And straightway they forsook their nets and followed him.
19And when he had gone a little further from there, he saw James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.
20And straightway he called them; and leaving their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, they went after him.
21And they entered into Capernaum, and straightway on the sabbath days he entered into the synagogue and taught.
22And they marvelled at his learning, for he taught them as one that had power with him, and not as the scribes.
23¶ And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,
24saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.
25And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Be silent, and come out of him.
26And the unclean spirit tore him and cried with a loud voice and came out of him.
27And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? What new doctrine is this? for he commands the unclean spirits with power, and they obey him.
28And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.
29¶ And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
30But Simon’s mother-in-law lay sick of a fever, and soon they told him of her.
31And he came and took her by the hand and lifted her up; and the fever left her by and by, and she ministered unto them.
32In the evening, when the sun was down, they brought unto him all that were diseased and those that were possessed with devils.
33And all the city was gathered together at the door.
34And he healed many that were sick of diverse diseases and cast out many devils and suffered not the devils to speak because they knew him.
35And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out and departed into a solitary place and prayed there.
36And Simon and those that were with him followed after him.
37And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.
38And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns that I may preach there also, for truly I came forth for that purpose.
39And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee and cast out devils.
40¶ And a leper came to him, beseeching him and kneeling down to him and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
41And Jesus, having mercy on him, put forth his hand and touched him and said unto him, I will; be thou clean.
42And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was clean.
43And he straitly charged him and forthwith sent him away
44and said unto him, See thou say nothing to any man, but go, show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
45But he went out and began to publish it much and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places; and they came to him from every quarter.
