Iḇ`rim (Hebrews) 13
13
1Let the brotherly love continue.
2Do not forget to receive strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained messengers.
3Remember the prisoners as if chained with them, and those being mistreated, since you yourselves also are in the body.
4Let marriage be respected by all, and the bed be undefiled. But Elohim shall judge those who whore, and adulterers.
5Let your way of life be without the love of silver,#Implying money. and be satisfied with what you have. For He Himself has said, “I shall never leave you nor forsake you,”# Deu. 31:6
6so that we boldly say, “יהוה is my helper, I shall not fear what man shall do to me.”# Psa. 118:6
7Remember those leading you, who spoke the Word of Elohim to you. Consider the outcome of their behaviour and imitate their belief.
8יהושע Messiah is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
9Do not be borne about by various and strange teachings.#See Eph. 4:14 For it is good for the heart to be established by favour, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.
10We have a slaughter-place from which those serving the Tent have no authority to eat.
11For the bodies of those beasts whose blood is brought into the Set-apart Place by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp.
12And so יהושע also suffered outside the gate, to set apart the people with His own blood.
13Let us, then, go to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach.
14For we have no lasting city here, but we seek the one coming.
15Through Him then, let us continually offer up a slaughter offering of praise to Elohim, that is, the fruit#Or “bulls of our lips” – See Hosea 14:2 of our lips, giving thanks to His Name.
16And do not forget to do good and to share, for with such slaughter offerings Elohim is well pleased.
17Obey those leading you, and be subject to them, for they watch for your lives, as having to give account. Let them do so with joy and not groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.
18Pray for us, for we trust that we have a good conscience, desiring to behave well in every way.
19But I particularly encourage you to do this, that I might be restored to you the sooner.
20And the Elohim of peace who brought up our Master יהושע from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21make you perfect#See Mat. 5:48 in every good work to do His desire, working in you#See Gal. 2:20; Philip. 2:13 what is pleasing in His sight, through יהושע Messiah, to whom be esteem forever and ever. Amĕn.
22And I call upon you, brothers, bear with the word of encouragement for I have written to you in few words.
23Know that brother Timotiyos has been released, with whom I shall see you if he comes shortly.
24Greet all those leading you, and all the set-apart ones. Those from Italy greet you.
25Favour be with you all. Amĕn.

Brotherly Love in the Community
1Let brotherly love continue.
2Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers—for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.
3Remember the prisoners as if you were fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you also were suffering bodily.
4Let marriage be held in honor among all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
5Keep your lifestyle free from the love of money, and be content with what you have. For God Himself has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you,”
6so that with confidence we say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What will man do to me?”
7Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith.
8Yeshua the Messiah is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
9Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace—not by foods that have not benefited those occupied by them.
10We have an altar from which those serving in the tabernacle have no right to eat.
11For the bodies of those animals—whose blood is brought into the Holies by the kohen gadol as an offering for sin—are burned outside the camp.
12Therefore, to make the people holy through His own blood, Yeshua also suffered outside the gate.
13So let us go to Him outside the camp, bearing His disgrace.
14For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the one that is to come.
15Through Yeshua then, let us continually offer up to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips giving thanks to His name.
16Do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
17Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as ones who must give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no benefit to you.
18Pray for us, for we are convinced that we have a clear conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things.
19I especially urge you to do this, so that I may be restored to you sooner.
Closing Blessing
20Now may the God of shalom, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep by the blood of an everlasting covenant, our Lord Yeshua,
21make you complete in every good thing to do His will, accomplishing in us what is pleasing in His sight, through Messiah Yeshua. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
Final Greetings
22But I urge you, brothers and sisters, listen patiently to this word of exhortation, for in fact I have written to you in few words.
23Know that our brother Timothy has been released. If he comes soon, I will visit you with him.
24Greet all your leaders and all the kedoshim—those from Italy greet you.
25Grace be with you all.
