Qorintiyim Bĕt (2 Corinthians) 1
1
1Sha’ul, an emissary of יהושע Messiah, by the desire of Elohim, and Timotiyos the brother, to the assembly of Elohim that is at Corinth, with all the set-apart ones who are in all Achaia:
2Favour to you and peace from Elohim our Father and the Master יהושע Messiah.
3Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Master יהושע Messiah, the Father of compassion and Elohim of all comfort,
4who is comforting us in all our pressure, enabling us to comfort those who are in every pressure, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by Elohim.
5Because, as the sufferings of Messiah overflow in us, so our comfort also overflows through Messiah.
6And if we suffer pressure, it is for your comfort and deliverance, being worked out in enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort and deliverance.
7And our expectation for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are sharing in the sufferings – so also in the comfort.
8For we do not wish you to be ignorant, brothers, of our pressure which came to us in Asia, that we were weighed down, exceedingly,#See 2Cor. 4:8, 9; 2Cor. 4:17 beyond ability, so that we despaired even of life.
9Indeed, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in Elohim who raises the dead,
10who rescued us from so great a death, and does rescue, in whom we trust that He shall still rescue us,
11you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks shall be given by many on our behalf for the favour bestowed upon us through many.
12For our boasting is this: the witness of our conscience that we behaved ourselves in the world in simplicity and sincerity of Elohim, not in fleshly wisdom but in the favour of Elohim, and much more toward you.
13For we are not writing any other matters to you than what you read or understand. Now I trust you shall understand, even to the end,
14as also you have understood us in part, that we are your boast as you also are ours, in the day of the Master יהושע.
15And relying on this I intended to come to you before, that you might twice receive a favour,
16and to pass your way into Makedonia, and again from Makedonia come to you, and to be sent by you on my way to Yehuḏah.
17Since I intended this, did I do it lightly? Or what I plan, do I plan according to the flesh, that with me there should be Yes, Yes, and No, No?
18But Elohim is trustworthy, that our word to you was not Yes and No.
19For the Son of Elohim, יהושע Messiah, who was proclaimed among you by us – by me, Silas, and Timotiyos – was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes.
20For as many promises as are of Elohim, in Him they are Yes, and in Him Amĕn, to the esteem of Elohim through us.
21But He who establishes us with you in Messiah and has anointed us is Elohim,
22who also sealed us, and gave the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.
23And I call Elohim as witness against my being, that to spare you I came no more to Corinth.
24Not that we rule over your belief, but we are fellow workers for your joy, for you stand by belief.

2 Corinthians 1
1
2 Corinthians 1
1¶ Paul, apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia:
2Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3¶ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
4who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
5For in the same manner that the sufferings of the Christ abound in us, so also our consolation abounds by Christ.
6And if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and saving health, which is effected in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer; or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and saving health.
7¶ And our hope of you is steadfast, being certain, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
8Because, brothers, we would not have you ignore our tribulation which was done unto us in Asia, that we were burdened beyond our strength, in such a manner that we despaired even of life:
9But we had the sentence of death in ourselves that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead;
10who delivered us from so great a death and does deliver; in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
11ye also helping us with prayer, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons, thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
12¶ For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with carnal wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world and more abundantly towards you.
13For we write no other things unto you than what ye read or also know, and I trust ye shall know them even to the end
14as also ye have known in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
15¶ And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before that ye might have a second grace
16and to pass by you into Macedonia and to come again out of Macedonia unto you and of you to be sent forward to Judaea.
17When I, therefore, was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that of me there should be yes, yes, and no, no?
18But God is faithful that our word toward you has not been yes and no.
19For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timothy, has not been yes and no, but in him was yes.
20For all the promises of God are yes in him, and in him Amen, by us for the glory of God.
21Now he who confirms us with you unto Christ and has anointed us is God;
22who has also sealed us and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
23Moreover I call God for a witness upon my soul that I have not yet come unto Corinth to spare you.
24Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy, for by faith ye stand.
