Exodus 37

Ark, Table, Menorah, Incense Altar
1Bezalel also made the Ark from acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.
2He overlaid it with pure gold inside and out, and made a crown of gold for it all around.
3He cast four golden rings for it, in the four feet, two rings on the one side, and two on the other.
4He also made poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.
5Then he put the poles into the rings on the sides of the Ark, to carry the Ark.
6He made an atonement cover of pure gold, two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide.
7Then he forged two cheruvim of gold, from hammered work, at the two ends of the atonement cover,
8one cheruv at one end, and one cheruv at the other. He made the atonement cover from a single piece with the cheruvim on the two ends.
9So the cheruvim spread out their wings on high, overshadowing the atonement cover with their wings, with their faces to one another, and the faces of the cheruvim toward the atonement cover.
10Then he made the table of acacia wood, two cubits long, a cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high.
11He overlaid it with pure gold and made a golden crown all around.
12Also he made a border for it, a hand-width around, and made a golden crown for the border all around.
13He cast four golden rings for it, and put the rings into the four corners that were on the four feet.
14The rings were close to the borders, as holders for the poles to carry the table.
15He also made the poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold, to carry the table.
16He forged the articles that were on the table, the dishes, pans, bowls and jars, with which to pour, out of pure gold.
17Then he made the menorah of pure gold, of hammered work, even its base, its stem, its cups, its bulbs and its flowers, were one piece with it.
18There were six branches going out of the sides, three branches out of one side, and three branches out of the other.
19Three cups made like almond blossoms were in one branch, a bulb within a flower, and three cups made like almond blossoms in the next branch, another bulb within a flower. It was just so for the six branches going out of the menorah.
20Also within the menorah were four cups made like almond blossoms, bulbs and flowers,
21with a bulb under two branches of one piece, a second bulb under two branches of another piece, and a bulb under two branches of a third piece, for six branches extending out of it.
22Their bulbs and their branches were one piece with it, an entire hammered work of pure gold.
23He also made the seven lamps, along with tongs and censers of pure gold.
24He made them from a talent of pure gold, along with all the pieces.
25He made the altar of incense from acacia wood, a cubit long, a cubit wide, squared, and two cubits high. The horns were one piece with it.
26Then he overlaid it with pure gold on top, on the sides all around and over its horns. Also he made a crown of gold for it all around.
27He made two golden rings for it underneath the crown, on two sides as holders for poles in order to carry it.
28He made the poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.
29Then he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, the blend of a perfumer.

Exodus 37

Making the Ark
1Bezalel # Ex 25:10-20 made the ark of acacia wood, 45 inches long, 27 inches wide, and 27 inches high. # Lit two and a half cubits its length, one and a half cubits its width, and one and a half cubits its height 2He overlaid it with pure gold inside and out and made a gold molding all around it. 3He cast four gold rings for it, for its four feet, two rings on one side and two rings on the other side. 4He made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. 5He inserted the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark for carrying the ark.
6He made a mercy seat of pure gold, 45 inches long and 27 inches wide. # Lit two and a half cubits its length and one and a half cubits its width 7He made two cherubim of gold; he made them of hammered work at the two ends of the mercy seat, 8one cherub at one end and one cherub at the other end. At each end, he made a cherub of one piece with the mercy seat. 9They had wings spread out. They faced each other and covered the mercy seat with their wings. The faces of the cherubim were looking toward the mercy seat.
Making the Table
10He # Ex 25:23-29 constructed the table of acacia wood, 36 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 27 inches high. # Lit two cubits its length, one cubit its width, and one and a half cubits its height 11He overlaid it with pure gold and made a gold molding all around it. 12He made a three-inch # Lit a handbreadth frame all around it and made a gold molding all around its frame. 13He cast four gold rings for it and attached the rings to the four corners at its four legs. 14The rings were next to the frame as holders for the poles to carry the table. 15He made the poles for carrying the table from acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. 16He also made the utensils that would be on the table out of pure gold: its plates and cups, as well as its bowls and pitchers for pouring drink offerings.
Making the Lampstand
17Then # Ex 25:31-39 he made the lampstand out of pure hammered gold. He made it all of one piece: its base and shaft, its ornamental cups, and its calyxes # = the outer covering of a flower and petals. 18Six branches extended from its sides, three branches of the lampstand from one side and three branches of the lampstand from the other side. 19There were three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with a calyx and petals, on the first branch, and three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with a calyx and petals, on the next branch. It was this way for the six branches that extended from the lampstand. 20On the lampstand shaft there were four cups shaped like almond blossoms with its calyxes and petals. 21For the six branches that extended from it, a calyx was under the first pair of branches from it, a calyx under the second pair of branches from it, and a calyx under the third pair of branches from it. 22Their calyxes and branches were of one piece. # Lit piece with it All of it was a single hammered piece of pure gold. 23He also made its seven lamps, snuffers, and firepans of pure gold. 24He made it and all its utensils of 75 pounds # Lit a talent of pure gold.
Making the Altar of Incense
25He # Ex 30:1-5 made the altar of incense out of acacia wood. It was square, 18 inches long and 18 inches wide; it was 36 inches high. # Lit a cubit its length, a cubit its width, and two cubits its height Its horns were of one piece. # Lit piece with it 26He overlaid it, its top, all around its sides, and its horns with pure gold. Then he made a gold molding all around it. 27He made two gold rings for it under the molding on two of its sides; he put these on opposite sides of it to be holders for the poles to carry it with. 28He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
29He also made the holy anointing oil and the pure, fragrant, and expertly blended incense. # Ex 30:23-24,34-35
